Trust.

We find trust being one of the major turn ins in our relationship.

I have been happy with the choices so far. I do a lot of the chatting on our profile probably 70% when we are doing a meet he changes the password then arranges who we meet. I trust that he would choose wisely.

Ill have to agree with others who have posted and say trust and also respect for me.

The dom/sub thing can be so good, but it only works with trust and honesty from both parties e.g. desires/needs, and limits.

Those limits need to be respected and the trust that they will be respected, that way both parties can just let go and know neither will be put into a position they really dont want to be.

once that is in place however, oh good god it can be so satisfying

I don't think there is a single definition to what makes a good submissive - a lot of the trust, respect etc words come into it and are key, but the actual definition comes out of an individual relationship and it's own unique dynamics and is no different from any other relationship in some ways.

What may be good to one person or relationship may not be to another - it's more about finding a person you are matched with than a definition of good or bad.

Nothing to do what's so ever with low self esteem. I'm completely sub to Mr Foxxx in the bedroom.. Day to day though we're absolute equals. I have to be in complete control in my work so I massively get off on relinquishing control to him. But I still have the upper hand because its built on trust and respect. I don't think that it would at all - most Dom/mes I have known would prefer a submissive who can think for themselves, express their feelings, desires and limits articulately and be the ying to their yang.

A submissive who can do none of those things may be of interest to the uninformed Dom/me who think BDSM is all about the submissive doing anything they ask without question or prior discussion but to people that truly know and understand the BDSM lifestyle a submissive that blindly follows and accepts whatever they are told is just as dangerous as a Dom/me who thinks a sub should do whatever he/she asks of them.

OP here... my what makes a good sub slut question was to get a gist of other people's ideas and maybe incorporate them into our relationship If I felt it was something that I / we would enjoy. I'm not a pushover out of the bedroom although would always aim to please but only when I'm comfortable doing that.
