Been in love for almost seven years now. Got together when I was fourteen, and he was eighteen. I had just broken up with a boy who was seventeen - he hit me, kicked me, emotionally abused me and threatened me. My dad took care of that one for me...

So when I got with my husband, my dad wasn’t impressed. Not only was he four years older, but my previous boyfriend who was three years older had abused me. My dad eventually met my husband, and loved him.

My whole family love him so much, as do I. Been to hell and back numerous times, and it’s never faltered our love .

This might seem crazy....

But when a woman tells me she loves me, it throws up red flags for me.

I just start thinking “ Oh no , what is her angle “

Just about 4 months out of what i thought was a beautiful relationship,right now im good but it took me a while to get here, do i wanna love again? 100% i do, but id also be happy if i never felt that pain again x
