So I'm not trying to be dumb or a loaner, but is it right that people advertise meets on here with the comment there will be a charge? I understand if hiring a room but the one I have just seen doesn't mention that? I'm just curious of other peoples views on this

Its not about grassing. There is no room on this site for prostitution.

I believe it is worth asking how much the charge is and what it covers, also how many people, including breakdown of type, are likely to attend.

This way, you can make an informed decision whether the charge is justifiable and decide what to do next etc...

Some peeps prefer to charge a small charge to cover their expenses such as food and drinks, and even childcare.

.

They don't need to know you have no intention of attending!

If they get shirty when you start to ask questions, then it is indicative that something is not right IMHO.

Honest and respectable people have nothing to hide would not object to people asking question, as they appreciate it is one's prerogative to gather facts and figures etc. before making a decision.

My 2p.
