Panties are most definitely an American word, you never ever here the word knickers over here. Though I find either quite nice ; ) . I think it's sexy when I here someone from the UK say knickers, but it's just as sexy to here someone say panties over here, just ask any man lol. Personally we use all the terms. We like variation.

Although a g string can't half cheese wire your balls if you get it wrong.

Panties tend to look more alluring on my wife than me.

Boxers seem to be her favourite for me to wear.

Knickers for everyday wear.
