Does anyone actually read the verifications on profiles, or just count to see how many you have.

for us verifications show that the person/couple does actually meet. (phone and cam veri's don't count for us)

What they actually say about the person is not that much of interest for us because everyone is different.

What might be a great and enjoyable meet for one person might not be for others.

If you put verifications in the forum search box I'm sure you will find lots of previous postings about this topic.

I always do and read the verifications they have left for other women too because you can tell what a person is like. You cant always know if they are going to be your type, they may send nice messages and sound nice on the phone, but have no verifications, they turn out to be not so nice, they just know how to say the right things. Although i have met some nice men who didnt have any verifications, cant remember how many can only remember one.

If people are local and sound interesting in their messages we do meet them socially to see what they are really like. As you said - often people come across different in messages.

If they are not for us we just go separate ways and that's it.

We read verifications. I like to see if others have said anything about the profile owner having a sense of humour... they are going to need one if they agree to meet us

I don't necesarily pay attention to what verifications actually say but if someone's been on here a while it's good to know they have some, if they haven't it does make me wonder why and very wary of talking to them. If someone is new and I like them I would still consider meeting them if they had no verifications, we've all got to start somewhere right?

Anyone can come up with a slick line of BS in their messages, designed to tell the recipient exactly what they want to hear. Politicians make a living at it. People are inclined to do the same when trying to make their first impression count.

What someone else has to say about that person in a verification, I think is a good cross reference. That said, you will (for obvious reasons) only see the positive comments. You'll never get the warnings off a bad reference that was never published.

always read veris to know if someone will actualy turn up and they are what they say, ie a couple or a lady. Am not too interested in what they say coz no one will show a negative one and not everyone likes everyone.

playing m flute here.I'm a lucky single.I get good meets.I get good veris.I remeet people considered as 'friends'.

theres a mathematical forumla thaats easy to work out:

a good selection of veris= a trusted meet

ppl can decide what they like to write on mine, if its OTT fair enuff...but that is their choice and to be honest I doubt many of my meets need to exaggerate to make themselves look better to others.

most of my meets have a selection of veris from others too- some have met eachother through myself.

Its about building a COMMUNITY in my eyes, whether it be social or sexual.

And really, I wish people would stop saying they dont really matter...especially when I see the endless slur of noshow/timewster/abusive/stalkers type of threads

again I say its UR SELECTION PROCESS THATS SHIT... even worse if u've been on the site long enough to realise the difference between the players and the swingers.

I had a great long conversation with a couple last nite, newly joined...woke to a nice mail saying they were very interested.. they are now no longer n site lol...yeahhh my times been wasted by a non verified 'couple'- but I gave benefit of the doubt...but can I really complain??? nope...that was MY selection process...but I know it wouldnt have happened with a decently WELL verified and established contact.

without verifications our parties would never have been as succesful as they were. if used correctly thay can be the most invaluable indicator of what a person/couple is like in real life rather than a profile. wed urge people to to verify lightly but please if a couple or person really were a pleasuer to meet then say so, dont be lazy. if we all did that then the term "Time waster, liar, imposter would diminish. EARN the veris they should be worth their weight in gold

I read veri's if they're there, and they're just part of the whole picture that I build up of people. As someone's unlikely to post a negative veri, then everything has to be taken in context, but it does seem silly to ignore feedback that others have given.

we like to read peoples verifactions. for us its the same old point if someone has been on a swingers site for over a year and still not been met/seen/spoke on the phone by anyone then chances are they are fake we dont get to meet as much as we would like due to tony working away alot and having a young child but can be found in chat on cam together so everyone knows we are a real cpl. we may not be everyones tastes but our veries prove we are real

Lol. I'll happily give a veri if someone I met wanted one but some guys here are a bit OTT. Many after not meeting for some time.

My reasoning is simple: Some people won't get on. No matter what other people say. I'm happy to see reports of people having a good time but it doesn't gurantee that me and that particular person will. I like to engage with people with no preconceptions.

I tend to make my judgement from the messages and banter I have with people. I sometimes forget to read the profile I don't meet many from the site solely based on contact on here, I see people in clubs and they just happen to be members of Fab so verify me afterwards.

But I wouldn't be biased about people because they've met barebackers. Unless the verification says 'they usually practice safe sex but with us they let us fuck them bareback' because unless you're in the room and see it personally then how do you know they played bareback. I have friends and a previous veri from a TV/TS - doesn't mean to say we've met that person for sex does it?

I personally think verifications are a two sided coin (of course I would Im a virgin) I used to play with my now ex wife and I know a fair few people off here who could verify me as a person but that wouldn't say weather I was someone who would turn up, the system is flawed in some respects (coming from playing as a couple) as we met guys who were verified out of politeness...should be a 5 star rating I think !

I only played as a single woman and after a social meet would arrange to play in my home at a later date.

There are woman here that like to be treated like "dirty sluts" and men happy to oblige. One woman's respectful is another's absolute nightmare. A sub woman being used as a cum dumps verification of how "respectful" a man is would be misleading for someone like me. Some woman have posted in the past that they've felt "obliged" to leave a verification even though they didn't enjoy the experience.

If you meet people off site you use your own judgement, there's no verification system in the real world, so I do struggle to understand those that abandon their ability to think for themselves, but take the word of total stranger's to decide if someone is respectful and genuine...wow!

I'm prety tired of the anti-verification mob, simply not listening:

not EVERY verification is sexual

it PAYS to be part of a community (in ur local area can be even better)- we arent all 'strangers'

if u like attending parties or inviting people, the verification system is a good measure of providing an insight into the person(s) u are interested in

verifications do not imply u must meet the particular person, judgement is always on the head of the interested party

verifications that show how friendly u are can only be positive to anyone

Nobody asked for everyone to like eachother- but when theres a good range of people saying the same things doing the maths counts

We think a verification says a lot more about the writer than it does about the target, so yes we look to read what someone who has contacted us has said about others and use that to help build up a picture of that person.

I made the mistake of purchasing a rather expensive designer kettle based purely on the reviews it received via a website….!.

hey, and I have to admit… it did look rather good ….!.

lol Fabio, it was an encompassing post really:

people who think the site 'features' are irrespective of 'swinging'- verifications,winks,and 'naughty' pics

prety much following the same argument, they are features many o the site use as tools to enhance the experience

nobody says these tools are a neccessity.

I even use the 'looked at me' feature to get meets..often send a wink or message and see what happens.

I do what works for me, and its works to the best of my knowledge as well as for others...but when theres such an amount of people diluting features of the site that help selection processes in finding compatible people- I have to wonder are they simply saying they are above the others who use the above mentioned additions to their judgement.
