Any keen mountain bikers in the area?

Nothing too extreme mainly trails

I do love to get away from it all into the wilderness on my bike.

Yes, I enjoy the trails quite a bit. Being in the midlands I have Cannock chase nearest to me. I have a specialised comp fsr and a cube. Both full suss. Can’t wait for the warmer dryer weather!

If you want a couple of hours drive then Llandegla in North Wales is a great place.

It really is, been there a few times. I travel with work to meetings in parts of wales sometimes, I often take my bike for afterwards lol!

Pontypridd/Rhyfelin

Opportunity here to highlight a few great places to get out to.

Used to ride regularly but lapsed a while ago, but looking forward to getting out a bit this spring & looking for local trail recommendations ...

Looking forward to the sunshine arriving, I don't mind mud, in fact I love smashing my bike through muddy trails but it needs to be at least a little warm!

Orange Alpine here in the Lake District...not really handy for Twickenham I suppose.
