Suspender disasters!!

everywhere!!

Hi,need some advice off you lovely ladies out there. Usually I’m a hold ups girl but recently I’ve bought a corset with suspenders and also a really sexy suspender belt. The straps keep coming out of the loops of my corset or breaking (they are only cheap plastic ones),and my lovely suspender belt keeps pinging off my stockings!!!

Any tips girls? Xx

Get some all in one garter belt stockings!

The only dilemma is wether to put panties over or under!

I think you can replace the straps for material ones rather than plastic. As for the pinging off your stockings? Hmm it does happen but there's a knack to fastening them in the first place I think... They shouldn't be slipping off the clips that attach to the body part though, I'd suggest trying the replacement ones and if it's still happening, just put a stitch in them so they stay put. X

Have you tried staples or even a nail gun? I'd suggest you carry out the latter prior to putting on your nylons though otherwise it could get nasty!

First off, ditch the stockings and use the belt with hold ups. That way you take the pressure off the suspender straps by leaving them much looser. Also it they do pop then the holdups stay in place.

As for the suspenders then cheap plastic ones really are poor. Try and spend a bit more for straps with metal fixings - these are so much better.

I've been doing exactly this for ages now and even with lots of action they stay in place all day. Also look at going for a 6 strap belt and not the 4 strap style.

How many straps? If youre replacing them, consider if itd be possible to swap 4 for 6, or 6 for 8 etc. The more straps, the more the tug is shared out. More straps also help keep seams straight too, a big plus! Ebay or Amazon sell spare metal clips or complete (matching!) sets of straps! Youll see from my gallery Im a bit obsessive with suspenders! x x Hope this helps

Over always. That way they come off without having to undo the straps. A real bonus when making a bathroom trip and avoids lots of suspended damage from a fumbling guy.

Those suspenders that attach to corsets are always working loose, I take them off.

Suspender belts need to be fairly sturdy if you're going to wear them for anything other than reclining gracefully on a chaise longue .

always have metal clasps, if the strap hooks into the belt on plastic then its a disaster waiting to happen x
