Waiting time

This is a question for the ladies mainly, but anyone is welcome to express their opinion.

You've arranged a meet for a specific time, gave the person your contact phone number 'in case of emergency'. How long would you usually wait for them to turn up before realising they were just a timewaster?

I'd probably hang around for about 20-30 minutes - just long enough to finish my drink

If it was someone I've met before I might wait a bit longer depending on what other plans I have for the day.

There are a number of variables here.

If you are waiting at home, and they have to travel a distance to yours, then only you will know the local traffic, and thereby know how long is "too long" for the excuse about traffic chaos etc.

Plus side here is, you are at home, so its not like you cant grab a brew and watch some tv whilst you wait.

A public meet, well, I'd grab a coffee, sit and do the suduko, and if they hadn't been in touch after 30 minutes, I'd bail.

A hotel?

If they have paid, but don't show, then I'd enjoy the facilities, maybe run up a small bill on room service, and smile when I leave.

I've paid?

Then I'd arrange another meet if they don't show within 30 minutes, life's too short to be hanging around.

10-15 minutes max if I didn't hear from them. And if they'd not been on touch in advance on the day either, I'd not turn up in the first place.

If you ever find yourselves in that situation, call me and I'll help with the bill! That's a lot of Pringles.

If they have a problem and cannot make it or will be delayed, they should phone before the time arranged for the meet!

I would wait no longer than 5 minutes!

If they were t there when I arrived I would leave straight away as obviously not bothering to make an effort ! plus they would have a contact number to say if they were going to be late !

Game over lol

I don't wait. I usually arrange very local for an initial meeting point. They let me know when they're there
