Profile names ending in "cool"

Just lately, I've noticed loads of these, usually on new members; but there are so many of them, that I'm beginning to suspect that they're actually spammers - not that it really matters to me; but it raised my curiosity as to what they could be trying to achieve.

Is it just me that has noticed this?

Don’t recall the ‘cool’ bit but there’s definitely scammers out there that use the same format for usernames and always have the same profile.

A while ago on some Facebook apps I noticed that men calling themselves cool were almost always Indian or Asian.

There was another descriptor that I can't remember that they used too.
