Hi forum dwellers, I’m really intrigued by some of you lovely people happily showing your faces on your profiles - particularly the ones where your face is showing during play. We couldn’t imagine being that open because of the usual stuff (Work & family to name but two) and I’m interested in your outlook on the lifestyle where you are clearly saying “don’t care who knows”.

P.s. Absolutely fair play to you, not remotely critical of others choices/profiles etc.

I've known some get stung by this issue and hence why I don't display x-rated or face pictures here. Some spoil it for others as they just weren't raised correctly to have respect or something like that.

In a perfect world everyone would be open, honest and understanding but it just isn't a perfect world. Swinging will cause at minimum serious embarrassment and major issues for a few. Hence need for caution.

That's fair enough I don't judge people who do things differently to me but most people on here ask for a face pic so I put them on my profile to save time because I have no shame lol

Never would. Already had enough creeps making several different profiles just to talk to us and random strangers messaging us on fab saying they saw one of us in certain places.

We've never had our face pics public so not sure how they "recognise" cobsidering they've never seen our faces. Even had one guy turn up at my work and then messaging us on fab.

Too many creeps and weirdos for us to go around showing our faces off. Also I'd rather not have my family or work know.

We were outed by an ex’s friend who shared some of our pics with our family, it was very awkward, luckily most saw the funny side and thought we were bonkers for being so open, but it did result in us having to change our username which was a bit of a pain.

Mr usually keeps his face pics for friends only, but Naughty has little qualms over sharing hers.

Not sure how showing a face pic publically equates to lack of discretion? Just because someone is comfortable and confident enough to show their face doesn't mean they're jumping around telling everyone they know that they're on here either let alone telling everyone about who they meet!!

By your logic the same could just as easily be applied to someone who doesn't show their face publically but who you send a face pic too or someone you meet in a club etc

I guess it depends on your job/ connections etc.... Like being a business man/ woman or a Councillor etc...you can play in your own private time,but the need for discretion is probably wise... Although the caveat being have a face pic available to send to fab friends..

We have no problem showing face pics on here, We have no embarrassment about our choice of lifestyle but it does not mean we are not discrete

I have no issue with showing my face as I see it you don't know who your sending your face photo to at first anyway so I would rather if someone who is on here knows me get that bit of embarrassment out of the way.

Everyone is meant to be on here for the same reason.

I won't show people who we play with faces that would be disrespectful. Showing my face does not mean we are not discrete we don't go shouting hey look at me I am a swinger and if I saw someone we met out in public we would walk on by.

We have no problems about putting up our face photos on here. We're not ashamed to be part of the swinging lifestyle. We are also discrete as who we meet has nothing to do with anyone else.

You need to see a face photo of who you're meeting anyway. It's not like you walk down the street to a meeting looking for someone who is naked.

Swinging friend of mine left her tablet unattended while on site for a minute or so. Teenage daughter picked it up and saw her profile and pics. As you can imagine it was and still is very awkward for them both. That's a good enough reason to not show face pics on the site. In my opinion.

Same with giving my phone number as some on here stipulate. I once gave my number to a guy on fabguys and received a text asking if he could come round to have his cock sucked.

9:30 at night and the wife was next to me.

I live and work in a very small town.

I respect others who show their faces ( I've seen quiet a few local fabbers ) but I like to keep my private life private and swinging completely apart.

We are open and not ashamed of what we do. We both have high profile jobs but it’s never been an issue. Our friends know and don’t care . If everyone was more open it might not be seen as something dirty and shameful. People see swinging as disgusting because everyone hides it away like it’s bad .

That had nothing to do with face pictures showing. If she left her tablet unattended while on the site her teenage daughter will have seen her profile regardless of what pictures were showing!

I have my face all over my profile... Along with recognisable tattoos. I'm honest with friends and family about my lifestyle choices and with regards to my work I do not feel like I have anything to be ashamed of. To think I'm not discreet because of that is laughable!

At some point you step away from behind the screen and see the real person face and all! I just show mine quicker!

It was awful, people gossip in a small village and we had grandchildren at the local primary school too, we all know about the school run gossips. Didn't want our grandchildren being mocked, even though they wouldn't have understood, it's not nice.

I have a great job and had someone send in a bundle of my photos and snap shots from my profile including chats from the forum to the HR department at my work. Didn't go down well but managed to keep my job but have since tonned my profile down to be in the safe side. People get jealous and do nasty things so best to be safe.

Sad when this kind of thing happens.... can't be too careful...this country has got so nasty over the past couple of years... I've face pics I share with contacts not public tho'

Think it all depends on your individual situation. In terms of family I only really have a brother and elderly parents. My brother would just laugh if he knew and my parents wouldn't care less as long as I still mowed the lawn and picked up their prescriptions. I can imagine if you had kids it's totally different though.

As far as work knowing is concerned I don't really care and see no reason why they would either, I'm not doing anything illegal and I don't see it as anything to be ashamed of. Each to their own.

We once had someone send all of details to my Mother In Law!

I’d love to show my face as I think it’s far more appealing than showing my cock or body - but it’s not worth the risk.

We never show faces on any sites we are on..especially with naked bodies too..We are not ashamed of what we do but we have to consider other people, like our children and future bosses or new family members and so..We do not think it is at all necessary to show them anyway..pics can be sent privately once the trust is there ..and even private pictures our faces are not shown on any nude pics.. it's just not worth it..

For me, I'm self employed, with no kids and my parents now live overseas. All my friends know what I get up to (without going into details) do I've no reason not to be totally open. We keep a lot of Jeff's tattoos and his face pics in our friends only gallery as he tends to keep our lifestyle private on his side.

I don't show my face pics on my profile, but do have them to send if arranging a meet...i think that's a given as attraction is important. I am not ashamed of my lifestyle but nor do i wish to announce it to the world. We all have our reasons for showing/not showing face pics and those reasons should be accepted without judgement.

I'm an adult and got broad shoulders. I don't particularly want my private life public knowledge but I'm not ashamed of being a swinger. If people find out they find out, its nothing to be ashamed of we're all adults. And it doesn't bother me if people I know who are also on here recognise me. But I think its an individual thing and I think you should always ask your self how happy are you about you identity being revelled and your pictures viewed and/or saved and used by persons unknown? That's why although I have face pictures I chose not have explicit photos of me for general public consumption. Which is the opposite of so many profiles that have explicit photos but no face. I think its important to ask what we mind people seeing and/or knowing before we set up a profile.

It's almost mainstream activity these days. I speak as a security cleared person who has signed the OSA. I'd rather it was all out in the open then we are not a security risk. It's when you try and hide something that's where the problems occur.

Discourse and not being ashamed of your activities is very reassuring in the vetting process. Its the people who have skeletons in the closest and/or stuff they are not happy to be out in the open who are a potential risk to security. Hence why those who hide things or will not disclose are especially a no go.
