Bad dragon

Has anyone from the UK placed an order of around £100 with bad dragon? I was just wondering roughly how much tax I'll be looking at paying when it gets over here before/after it's delivered.

I've read online that sometimes they want paying on delivery, and sometimes they send an invoice a few days later, but can only seem to find a ball park figure of a spend from £200 upwards, and it seems to vary a lot.

Any idea?

Never heard of them but if they are not invoicing you and making a price up on the day it hits your front door, it sounds pretty negotiable. You could say, I'll give you £50. They are either going to take it away and suffer costs or give it you.

It's being sent from the US so incurs custom tax. It's nothing to do with the company.

I purchased from the US the other year the item was about £50 and I had to pay a further 15 pound or so on top, if that’s any help

I believe he's suggesting that the courier actually pays the import duty, they then add their fees and Bill you.

I believe that there is no import duty on items below £120, but you should have to pay VAT at 20%.

I'm no expert though so I could be wrong.

This is possible, and possibly why I can only find amounts for a more expensive order, Thankyou.

Struggling to find a somewhat accurate amount online.

It's cost me just over £100 for ONE toy with shipping included, but have to pay VAT. Some people have paid hundreds of pounds worth of fees to receive them, so if it's a big order, you get stiffed again when it gets over here!

They need to open a store over here!

I know what you mean about the awesome stuff available in the U.S. there's a site called extreme restraints that has the best stuff on it, and loads cheaper than the poor equivalents here too.

It really is a shame, as the products from bad dragon just put everything else to shame, and for me, will more than likely be a one off purchase, or one every couple of decades even I can afford it lol.

I'm going to check out that website, although I'm now on bread and butter for the foreseeable lol.

No idea of the cost you will pay, I bought a £60 item from abroad and paid £9, I think.

I absolutely love bad dragon and I wish I had some of there items so whatever you get I hope you enjoy it x
