Fake profiles

Not the first and won't be the last to bring this subject up but surely have people actually got the time to waste keeping up the pretence of a fake profile? We all think we can spot a fake profile so why do these people waste our time? Just makes me laugh because they go through all the effort of setting up a profile and then us genuine people just hit the block button!! Just had to get that off my chest lol
