would you travel to meet someone from here?

I travelled about 2 1/2 hours a few years back. I don't think I would now though!

Mind you, I have a friend I chat to on here from Scotland which may require a purely drinks and laughter visit at some point. So I guess it depends on who and what for!

Just for a shag I doubt whether I would travel too far (especially when there is always the chance of disappointment when you meet the person) but it seems that others would travel that bit further just to meet my wife.

Would depend on how genuine I thought the meet was, and how good I thought it would be, (possibly, the latter might cloud my judgement. lol). Haven't gone over about 40 miles before, but would for the right meet.

Never travel for longer then he sex is likely to last. I doubt I'd go to Glasgow for a shag.

I've had guys from as far south as Birmingham say they want to meet. That was back when I was headless too. No chat, just from the off gonna drive for 6 hours, shag and fuck off home again. Like that's really gonna happen.

No respect for anybody who's that desperate.

The more desperate you are the further you will go...

An hour driving is about the limit for me.

An hour from home for me, is North wales, and Parts of the North West...

I dont travel..but I wont let anyone travel for more than about 40mins either.. as I think its unfair that the meet wouldnt even last as long as their travel time..

So I try to meet locals

Somerset to Essex did that a few times , for me I would rather travel the distance for a fantastic meet whether just social or play than make do with an ok meet just because someone is closer.

"would you travel to meet someone from here?

in what context....???

Social meets and events I will try to support where and when you can, because the one thing I have found is that it can because a bit like a goldfish bowl if it becomes too regionalised....

so social events... from glasgow and dundee... down to winchester and plymouth... across to cambridge and norwich... other way to bristol and cardiff...

I make weekends of the socials and you meet people you wouldn't normally do otherwise....

going to northern ireland for the 1st time in a few weeks and I am so bloody looking forward to it!!!

that is so not true it is actually quite laughable.... you have obviously never been at events where hundreds of people have some from all over the country for a cracking time.... in fact... I'd say you are missing out... but if that is the artitude then i'd rather you stayed away....

Fabio, you are comparing events with meeting an individual. They are completely different. The event WILL be there, regardless. The individual may not be.

id find it difficult going for a far off social meet - I barely attend scottish ones...

however far off and a full nite out or weekend, its always worth it and not desperate, in fact...I think some of the people who say things like that are ppl who are actually afraid to meet people in groups...ya know theres always the guy who likes a gangbang but never turns up for them.....

and for the ones who dont EVER meet ppl from further away...aye have fun...(often end up complaining sorts)

and shock horror "how far would u travel to meet"- has nobody looked at some of the cpls etc, arranging to meet up in different countries while on hols????

IF u have the time theres nothing wrong considering someone far off if u like them, but dont sit and be a fud saying NEVER NEVER NEVER

i travelled 5and half hrs on a grrr train to reading for a meet..wknd meet....spent a fortune total disaster and spent more to come home early...no i wasnt desperate i was however curious to meet this guy..but im afraid his words were different to his actions....I learnt a very valuable lesson and also an empty purse...so now will only travel no less than an hour...and will never go on a train ever again...grrrr to trains...

North Bristol

We've done an almost 800 mile round trip (and would do it again)

It depends on the other party and how attractive the proposition was.

Oh and for the record - this does not make us desperate

Just done the 100 mile outbound trip, waiting to meet someone, though as have met them before its less of an issue.

Have split the distance and doing a hotel meet. Figuring out if I can get up to no good on the Saturday now while away from home.

All else fails will have a drive, and visit somewhere. So long way for a meet, but turn it into a short break too.

See if it's an overnight stay or a weekend then the travel might well be worth it. As someone said there is no point travelling if the company (and what you get upto) is going to less time then it took you to travel.

it was for a meet (one person/couple), not to a party or club, where there are numerous or to quote you hundreds to meet, chat and maybe have fun with...

Prefer local to me so 1hour with exceptions

However as I travel with work I guess it would depend on if I am ever in the area of the person also if the person is genuinely going to meet....Timewasters
