Newcastle and Gateshead

we have had a deluge of snow in the north east last night.....

i have to say i strangely almost admire the people who put up a meet today post in the middle of bad conditions...

their dedication and willingness to risk their safety in pursuit of a legover!

its like the sheer optimism they have!!!

me.... furthest i am going today is from my sofa to my kitchen....

so have you ever risked a meeting in bad weather.....

St Austell

Years ago I was an overnight courier and travelled all over the Midlands - used to take my 2.00am 'lunch' break at a couple of well-known dogging locations...

....was always amazed that even when there were a good few inches of snow on the ground, guys would still showing up in search of some action...

....and that a few couples still turned up to play and display!

Hehe...I have just arranged a particularly naughty meet for this evening - might involve wearing my Hunter wellies and a long trudge through slush and snow...but there will be a very warm welcome at the end of it

My local regular buddy just messaged me to say he presumed I wasn't coming tonight, because of the weather. It's a 4 minute walk to the bus stop, a 10 minute bus ride and a 3 minute walk to his flat.

As much as I'd like to see him, I'm not up for the journey in minus temperatures. It could be colder by the time I left his tonight too.
