Okay this may divide opinion, and please no hate from this post, not trying to offend.

There are many older swinging couples/singles on here that dominate both the site and also swingers parties. It seems many have age restrictions and do not want to play with younger couples/singles, whilst also visa versa many younger couples/singles may also want to only play with other young swingers.

I wonder if there is any gap in the market for a young swingers event - around 30 and under perhaps?

Most likely this would have to be in London as it seems (going by this site), there is a lack of large group of young swingers elsewhere.

Again, not looking to offend, I myself would enjoy playing with older couples, and females, and have looked at attend cougar/cub parties.

I just wonder whether a party for younger swinging/couples or singles work for, people only looking for people similar age, and more in common.

Perhaps an under 30s swinging event maybe?

I don't see why it wouldn't work, you just need someone to take the initiative and organise one. I think you're right in that the age group is generally older, in the swinging community. But yes good idea

Me neither, but they do take a lot of organising and people will let you down, so, no not easy.

Our worry when we signed up to Fab (aged 31) was that the clubs would be full of old people but the truth be told, we have found plenty of young and hot people on our travels.

Besides, we are 35 and 34 now and are often told we look younger; some vanilla friends of ours are in their twenties and look/act a lot older. Age is just a number to be honest!

Yeah to be fair this may just be an assumption based on fab - seems a lot less young swingers, and also forum posts for events are almost always commented on by older couples.

This may be due to many young swingers not commenting but going, or just simply not being on fab.

However an advertised young swingers event is obviously going to attract all people looking for exactly the same thing

I hold a swingles event at xtasia and my crowed is predominantly younger still a mix forsay but does seem to be younger. Every third friday of the month xx

I'm at a really annoying age where at 35 I'm often considered too old for many in their twenties, but still slightly too young for a lot of people 40 upwards.

So if we could make it a twenties and thirties night please

Seriously though it does seem the majority of actual swingers on here are thirties upwards.

There are events like allure was for under 39s. But there are always people who are over the age limit that get in.

I'm 28 but my partner is slightly older and it means we wouldn't get in to an under 30s

Yep, we are the same we wanted to go to townhouse one night but one of us was classed as too old so we ended up just using the hotel we’d booked instead of going to the club. They do look like successful nights though.

Age is only a number, I never intend to have an "old" personality. I've had encounters with people a fair bit older then me but they've still had lots of energy for life and youthful outlooks.

Likewise younger people can often be a lot more mature then their given credit for.

I think there are already club nights around the country for 'unders'. I know Townhouse on the wirral does one. Maybe do a forum search for info in your area.

There is killing kittens which has a strict age criteria (and looks as well), which isnt for everyone.

Alternatively set up a social in your own area. If you build it they will come.

We are old for this site but act younger, told we look younger so often play with younger but we would be barred from attending this night out, I personally wouldn't want to go to a over 40's night out so if it came to a split in age for club nights it would be time to call it a day.

We know of the Allure at Townhouse, you are supposed to take passport proof of age, not sure how this worked out.

You both certainly look nowhere near your age, and seem a good looking couple, so I can see why you prefer to play with younger swingers.

I would imagine if this were a night it would only be a one off/month thing, leaving plenty of parties and evenings where all are invited. Just in the way some nights now exclude others, I.e.bi nights etc.

There will still be nights you can meet younger swingers if you please

Maybe a younger swingers night, whether that e 40's and under, 30s and under, 20s and under or whatever I'm not sure. But something for people looking for couples/swingers a similar age

We attended the under 39's 'Allure' nights at Townhouse! They are always sell-out events, despite the organisers initially being told that they'd be a flop because young people don't swing

Whatever limit you settle on, some people will always be over it who wanted to attend.

A younger night is a good idea and you’ll get lots of interest if you ran one, Chic nights kinda cater for this market to a point, we get where your coming from about ages in clubs, most even if there profiles says different, are over 40 in the clubs and re living there youth, sometimes when we go with think people are ancient! Even though we are too.

Age is just a number and body wise I will take the Pepsi challenge with anyone, some people mistake an age preference to actually a preference for people in good condition, if it’s really about age try a BBW night seem to be plenty 22 to 30 larger ladies attending these nights xx

Yes, it seems as though clubs seem to be dominated by people who have been in the swinging scene for a long-time and have many friends also in the scene (usually over 55), sometimes can be intimidating and off putting for younger swingers if not attracted to older couples and feel they won't have much in common either,

A younger swingers evening would be a good opportunity for people with a preference for younger couples/swingers to meet, whether that be social or to play.

We are both naturists & Swingers, naturism is primarily a lifestyle for older people & at 50 we’re quite young, compared to many people at various events, having said that it’s purely vanilla. Probably just as well as we’d get into trouble, in any case we don’t fancy people over 65 who are in the majority. It doesn’t mean we don’t have fun & we have made some great friends, however the reality is more is needed to attract younger members.

Whereas on Fab were in the middle somewhere, with a wide variety of ages so there should be something for everybody.

It’s refreshing to have a post from a newbie who’s not complaining he’s too young & can’t get a meet, but is thinking of ways to make things better.

Clubs generally cater for all ages, sizes, race & genders, presumably they can’t be ageist. We have visited many clubs & have to say on the few occasions we’ve visited “Secrets” there’s been plenty of young eye candy there, albeit they’re too old for us. This is a couples venue & doesn't help you as a single male though sorry.

OP I think the Killing Kittens events tend to be aimed at the younger crowed may be worth looking at. I’m not sure if there is a lower age limit but I believe the ace age is around 28.

That's easy to say (and hope for), but I remember being in my early 20s, pulling a 30 year old and feeling like a granny fucker. All my mates were like "Ewwww!"

So 'age is just a number' depends how old you are when you say it.

Thank you for your post, I suppose yes the age range completely differs from club to club and from night to night.

Have I previously been on here and found it hard to get a meet, therefore left, I also know many similar age to myself who have left due to same reasons.

I think many young people want to meet others similar age even if that is up to say mid-30s, but find either here or clubs rarely have many of a similar age that they are also attracted too.

Although it is better to try and find ways to change this as opposed to moaning about it haha

Decorate it

Get beers/supplies ready

Then sell tickets and see if you can break even....

This is why under 30s parties rarely happen.

If that was aimed at us (you should really use the “+quote” option), then we would be interested depending on location. Chances are it would be miles away from us.

OP there is a market for this kind of event and some do run already.

Townhouse host an event called allure. Killing kittens have a maximum age too. I'm sure there are others but can't think of them at the moment.

If you can't find anything local to you perhaps you could consider organising something yourself. A local club may be willing to try a younger swingers event and you could organise a social event.

Another idea is to rent a serviced apartment and hold a party yourself. You could ask for a contribution from guests to cover the cost of renting the venue. Make sure you get payment/part payment upfront in case of no shows - that way you wouldn't be left footing the entire bill yourself.

Haha yeah maybe an average age could work better as it seems a lot of couples may have one who is older than a specific age, yet one who is younger and obviously would like to attend as a couple.

Most likely this would have to be in London as it seems (going by this site), there is a lack of large group of young swingers elsewhere.

Yes, and sadly I'd imagine the majority of clubs don't specifically cater for those younger swingers looking for other young swingers, as it seems they are only a handful of young swingers at club nights

Perhaps looks and body type should be a consideration.

Seems the choice is between“elite parties” that are super expensive OR clubs predominantly frequented by older folk and those who get their five a day of Big Mac’s!!

Killing Kittens parties do have mature women attend too. Some of the women I met were in their 40's and 50's, but looked damn good for their age.

It is aimed at younger people, but when I've been it's been mix.

Heaven circle is another one, they do "elite" parties for younger people. And to be fair the attendees are predominantly in their 20's and 30's and mostly, in my experience, new to swinging.

It would be difficult to do a club night for under 35 (let's say) and not welcome people of all ages.

Perhaps plan your own private parties? Start off small and network and expand.

Maybe we could all attempt to plan a private party in somewhere that takes rentals, would be a better idea if a smaller scale of us all as well.

If it’s a club holding a under 30s night for example. they operate as private members only clubs so can pretty much put whatever restrictions they want in place.

Hence why they get away with charging guys more than than women
