Prompted by a couple of different threads.Now i am here for a variety of reasons,to swing,to cam,to do tasks for Sir,to meet bi guys as a couple.

The last one we have been doing for years,and never called it swinging.For me swinging is about combining the social side and sex.Meeting people you like and fucking them without the l* or r* words raising their heads.

*tho some friends i love dearly in a platonic sense and that just makes the sex better

*relationship is a tricky word, of course i have relationships with my Master and friends ,but i use the term in the generally accepted sense of the word.

So fabsters,over to you,and bonus points for not using the word "genuine" .

I was quite frustrated when i read the thread and found it was closed cause I wanted to add something to it this morning.. and i know the rules about re-starting closed threads....

so for me... swinging is about meeting and socialising with likeminded adults.. it is as much about being part of a community as it is about the sex....

It's my hobby

I work very hard and usually very long hours, what better way to relax, altho I must admit I am finding it increasingly difficult to find people with the same opinion on here

Variety to our sex life which ok hasn't yet panned out for both of us but we're still having a good time and learning a lot about ourselves and others. If anything it's brought us closer together and given us a better appreciation for each other.

Very much our _iew...without the social side it wouldn't be as much fun...other people play golf or go caravanning...our hobby is just a little warmer tho not necessarily drier

I dont class myself as a swinger.. I am a sexual explorer.. Master and I are on a journey.. and we sometimes require others to help with that journey.. So we find people that are happy to help.

Sometimes on a one off.. sometimes on a more regular basis but always just the sexual..

We do make friends but as yet only had one person that we would class as a friend and a playmeet..

We are looking for people to have sex with..and sometimes knowing their names isnt even on the agenda... its just meet.. discuss requirements, do it and part...

We meet to get what we need from others... others meet us to get what they need..

Now for some I think that means affection, sensuality or just a fuck.. but what ever you use this site and do it for.. your doing it to meet a need or a desire of some kind.

A good point,however labels are also a convient shorthand...i am a housewife,yes its a label,it doesnt define all of me,however when someone asks what i do it answers the question.

It helps ensure people are talking about the same thing,or we are in the situation of each having a private language and never being sure that our meaning is understood.

i agree...reminds me of a task i had on another site to get pics of as many bjs with strangers as i cud in a week,it was fab but i wud not class it as swinging

Hobby for us and due to the pressure other commitments we couldn't find a more relaxing pastime than a meet at ours, some food, wine, chat and if all goes well a horny time.

Swinging for me is a hobby, both sexual and social. On fab i play as a single female and that is "my time" Jay is on another site which is his "me time" and we do things together as well. I think the social side is just as important as the sexual side, just meeting likeminded friends whether i have played with them or not

swinging to me, is having uninhibited fun away from the day to day grind!! meeting other likeminded open people who want to enjoy sex and happy with their bodies without any ties (apart from ropes;-))

I have close friends away from this community and close friends here and there is a clear distinction for both.

Swinging for me is the opportunity to try new things sexually with open minded people who just want to have a good time. As im a single male being younger than the average swinger i dont really get too involved in the social side but there is still a social aspect to my meets, which is great. Its all just good fun and right old laugh.

I think its meeting people who are honest about what they are looking for in relationships, be they one off's or more continuous. Been on so called dating sites where all kinds of do's and don'ts are listed and when you meet them they all go out the window. At least here folks (well most of them) say what they mean and mean what they say. Wouldn't it be good if the world behaved thar way.

swinging to us is exploring different avenues of what we fancy at the time ,when we first started was for fems for her,then had soft swap fun ,over the last year been full swap onto watching her with men ,depends what we feel at the time ,but meeting compatable ppl .the social side is even better to relaxing in the company of like minded ppl but if not compatable still being able to meet up freinds wise ,even some single men we class and meet as freinds still ,had a few who dont bother even speaking as they wernt the mrs cup of tea playwise ,so swinging can mean a lot of different things to us and the best thing is you can explore more and more.

Thanks for all the replies,the end part of his struck me.We enjoy the social aspect not because of the need to make new friends,but because of that meeting of people who say what they mean,and what they want.

And yes, not everyone wants to be a swinger but i do think the world would be a better place with more openness.

The reason I love swinging is because I can show and explore a side of myself that I cant easily express in real life.

Swinging is the arena for my diva self to come forth. I love strutting my stuff around a club. I love dressing up. I love creating different styles and looks. I love the fact I can go to clubs in my underwear and flaunt my body. I love the fact that I can be indulgent, I love the fact I can ask men to pleasure me. I love the exhibitionist side of me to come out in all its glory.

The sex is a small part.

The fourums are a bit like Swinging in that you can get from them what you want really- and give as little or as much of yourself/ves to it as you wish.

For me, swinging is a release, an opportunity to explore, relax, socialise with like minded individuals, and satisfy my needs (and hopefully others too).

I like the social side more tbh. I have had "meets" but I prefer to get to know ppl and go from there. The best fun for me is with people i've met socially a few times and then carried it on further
