IS IT OK TO COVER OUR FACES IN PUBLIC PHOTOS?

What's your views on posting headless or covering your face in profile photos?

Of course sending a face pic to serious fabbers is perfectly fine, but how about protecting yourself from those not to serious or crazy catfishers?

We don't show our faces or any identify features in any of our fab pics. I think it's the sensible thing to do if you don't want to be easily recognisable when you're out and about. Or at work

i just don't get it when people say,

"il send you a face pic before we meet!"

for me there has to be at least an initial attraction there too.

what happens if you have all this chat etc and after that face pic the attraction goes?

each to there own though

We try to keep our faces mostly covered in public pics, and save those for either private or sending to people we think are serious. Or we are serious about them.

In our opinion you have to show face at some point, play the game, take the leap and show trust.

Just not in public photos usually!

Having said that someone recognised me (Andy) the other week and promptly messaged about it!...which was weird to be honest.

Totally agree that there should be an initial attraction. If someone isn't willing to share face pics with us then we will not meet. I mean...why would you???

I don't have my face on public photos but have one I can send if requested. I now require to see a photo before meeting, since I have to have an attraction also to the man. Plus I don't want to turn up to a meet and the man runs for the hills! Lol XXX

Mine are on show, doesn't bother me, if guys contact me and they don't send a clear face pic I will not chat. I understand people do not want to show pics in public, it's their choice.

I have no issues with posting my face in my public pics, some of them nude. It does mean when we go for a night out we are quite often recognised as being on here but it is nothing to be ashamed of. It is how we live our life and it doesn't matter to us who knows that we are swingers.

Some people have had such bad experiences that they won’t show faces, I won’t even show my profile.

I suppose though you can sift out the fakes with careful questions/gut feeling.

I don't see a problem with it, its your face so you decide who sees it.

I do like to see who I'm talking to if the chat is going well. If there's no attraction then, I say my goodbyes.

There's no point seeing a pic once you're more invested in a person. If I'm not attracted or vice versa, its more awkward at that time.
