BBW wife on beach

We have chatted about going to a naturist beach but she is concerned about what people might think as she is a BBW size 20/22. She has wonderful boobs but she has a belly which concerns her. I have told her that it takes all sizes and there will be people on the beach who would love to see her naked. She just needs some convincing as in front of me she has no problems with nudity and always goes topless on the beach but is worried about what people might think if she is totally naked. For me I would love to see guys getting exited by what she is like. Come on convince her.

This is actually quite easy, your wife will look less overweight without the bikini bottoms. She will look more normal without anything. So many fatter women on the beach will wear costumes, and frilly bits of material hanging everywhere on a bikini. There is no need, wearing nothing takes the eye away from any body issues. The same could be said for stockings and suspenders, they look great on all women of all shapes and sizes.

Nothing to worry about, we must take risks in life.

We love nude beaches - and nude camping - and there are always all sorts of bodes on display. Very few people have 'porn star' bodies. Nobody will stare, go for it!

I am in exactly the same position and very self conscious of my post baby, post caeasarean section belly. But years ago braved nude days at Kestrels and it has really helped. I just invest in pretty sarongs and even just a small one wrapped around my tummy makes me feel happier.

But honestly no one in the naturist community seems to care and you see all types of bodies.

The first time is the hardest, just be brave and you will love it.

Correct, yes a forum where replies should be of use and not just a way of belittling someone's idea. You almost sound as though we should behave like we do in a Library. What on Earth is wrong with a guy convincing his wife to be liberated and sun herself at a natural nude beach? His wife might just need the reassurance from him?

There's nothing wrong in a guy supporting his wife to be confident in her body, nothing at all. I don't think canvassing the support of others to convince her to go naked on a beach is a great idea if she doesn't want to do it.

If all she needs is reassurance from him, why ask a bunch of strangers?

Op perhaps you used the word convince where you meant support. If your wife is nervous about baring all she can rest assured that there are all body types on naturist beaches and that mostly she will be amongst non-judgemental people

Totally, though the guy is just getting feedback. She may not want to only because of body shape and that is not good as it can affect other insecurities in life, and things then tend to manifest. A trip to the nude beach could just be the thing his wife needs to build the confidence. In saying that looking at the pics one wouldn't suggest confidence is an issue.

We are regular nude beach goers and we can asure anyone thinking of going on a nude beach that most are of large plump normal types with bellies streach marks scares ect. The body beautiful people are actually quite rarely seen on nude beaches.also most nude beaches are not crowded or busy so you won't be too close to other bathers only being seen by the odd paser by or pervy guy hopeing for a glimpse of pussy

Don't worry about what others think of you or your body just go because you want to enjoy being naked and free in the sun

Thanks for the replies. Didn't want to start people arguing though. For the record she does feel that she wants to get naked and no real problems with it at all other than she did not want to be the only big girl amongst loads of perfect figures

We are both very large and both love going to nude clubs. Not too keen on beaches as they lack facilities and in UK there are more pervs wanking in the dunes then nudists and that can be off putting for some women and exciting for others. Although we both love going nude at clubs and occasional beaches we also understand it is not for everyone especially larger ladies. We only ever holiday in summer at nude resorts so 24/7 naked with socials too and for us it is wonderful, for your wife it may be the scariest thing ever so have a chat to her and ask is it really only what you want or does she want to do nude. It is no use forcing her to try something just for you.

It can be more tough getting to the beach yourself as a single and requires lots of self confidence.

In searching for a partner they must be open to trying things like that for me. The dating can be fun listening to some responses, but am sure there is someone who likes fun and wants that liberated feeling. I doubt I could settle for a woman that would not try anything like that (swinging would certainly be out if she couldn't handle the beach).

I used to be the same about 5 years ago. It’s a difficult thing to do at first.

My husband has always been a nudist and I really wanted to try it but was frightened because of being plus size.

We was in Fuerteventura on a nudist beach and I felt a complete prat in my tan through swimming costume. I was the odd one out.

When it was time to leave the beach I quickly took my costume off to put my dress on and a clothed lady walked towards me and then doubled back to where she came from because she obviously felt uncomfortable that she had walked in to the nudist area.

For once I didn’t. I felt empowered. I felt good. On this occasion, she was the odd one out, bless her.

There are women larger and smaller than me and we all have the same bits but some are more wobbly than others have. Nobody cares...

I won’t book a holiday where I can’t be naked now... it just doesn’t feel right. I’m the first to strip off..

I’ve sunbathed topless on holiday for 25 years or more, wearing nothing but a bikini bottom. In that time I’ve bounced around from a 16 to a 22 and it’s never bothered me in the least - and I’ve never had an issue with anyone else because of it.

I think doing things like that is more empowering than anything & I’m sure your wife will never look back after the first time!! xx
