Good secluded spot in Manchester for daytime outdoor meets

I posted this in the 'UK' forum but I don't know how much traffic that gets. Apologies if this isn't the correct forum for the post, I'm not sure :

Has anyone got any recommendations for spots where you can park up and are unlikely to get disturbed in the Manchester area. Preferably south and west Manchester, not going too far out from the M60.
