Hull but travel regularly

There’s a party house in hull that was opened by great hosts who knew the scene well. It’s now been taken over by the people (financially) behind it who aren’t swingers and have put in charge a couple who 25 years old who aren’t swingers to run it. I’m not saying people of that age can’t run a party house well but they don’t have the insight or experience.

It’s now plastered all over Facebook as the ‘dirty party house’, later changed to ‘naughty but nice party house’ with comments ranging from ‘is this a fucking joke’ to just generally being a laughing stock locally. They have a group on fb too with a public member list - needless to say it’s just the people involved in it so far from what I can see.

This isn’t to discuss to party house itself (unless anyone feels strong enough to comment) but wondering would you attempt to go somewhere that was so public on Facebook and was being presented in such a way that it became a point of ridicule?

Sounds like it's 'all about them', which doesn't come as a surprise with today's narcissitic 20-something generation.

Nope, I'd avoid it like the plague. The first rule of fight club.....

Cardiff

I'd be very wary, I wouldn't go.

I don't care if people find out I like sex, big deal, so being public about it doesn't bother me on that front.

But

A venue being so public about it means that idiots are quicker to find out about it. There's already been a negative reaction and fun being made, how soon before it goes from stupid comments to "here lads, this'll be laugh, let's go have some "fun"!" and some idiots turn up and start causing havoc after being egged on by others? How long before the press get involved? How quickly will it all be twisted into something "dirty", "seedy", "dodgy"?

Stuff on Facebook spreads like wildfire. There's a difference between getting the idea for and going looking for a club to go to, and having it pop up on your news feed out of the blue because it's being shared and commented on so much.

Leeds

I’m open with everyone but I wouldn’t go there as, as others have mentioned, it will now attract a lot of ‘tourists’ as well as those out to make trouble. What a blinking stupid thing to do!
