Just wondering if anyone has made their own, I'm wanting to build a saint andrews cross but i want to make it blend in.

So that to the untrained eye it looks like part of the room..

Thoughts??

Does it have to be a traditional cross?

We have a trellis like framework on the wall in one of our offices that has pictures and things hung on it, that could easily be made pretty strong and used to tie somebody to. Also doesn’t stand out as more than a design feature

Otherwise im sure it would be pretty easy to make a cross that you could fold straight and hide behind the sofa or something when not in use.

I made a cross that breaks down to hide in a cupboard when there are nillas about, the wall fixings are hidden by a picture on the wall

Near Kettering

We built our own bed with a sling, swing, anchor points to secure people for flogging and a set of stocks.

We also use straps to support legs when someone is in missionary and wants support when they want to lift there legs up.

We love it but use it far too infrequently.

Chanel out the wall and set it in to brick work ,then paint wooden beams onto the wall

We’ve added some fixings to the base of a padded ottoman. We usually attach ankle and wrist restraints to them but you could loop rope through. It’s comfy enough to lay on or bend over either length ways or width ways. But it’s a functional piece of furniture too and the fixings swing under it when in normal use. You could always fill the box with toys and outfits if you wanted to.

We’ve also made a spreader bar from an old wardrobe pole. Waste not want not.

I plan on making it either on rollers that oulls from under the bed and pulls up so its hidden under the bed...

Or the tressil idea sounds good

Have made some decent spreader bars in the past from a cheap brush handle and screw eyelets. They can be used for wrists and ankles in an upright position if secured to a wall or door frame.

Have an old spanking bench/horse that dismantles and tucks away in a wardrobe, very well made by a friend on here. Now surplus to our needs as we have a superb Fetters frame that slides easily under the bed when not required.

Not DIY furniture but instillation of shackle points in the walls on my play room (my house came with a small underground WW2 bomb shelter). Its a great atmosphere down there, the bare brick work, the musty smell. Less is more. But I would probably have a crack at some equipment in the future.
