Sorry if this isn’t in the correct section....not really sure where it belongs!

As someone who struggles to write about themselves and isn’t as confident as a lot of people on here how do I go about actually messaging people and making myself stand out, would you just attach a face picture and explain that you aren’t the best at first messages or what? I’m at a bit of a loose end as I struggle to actually do it!
