Skinny Minnie or womanly figure ?

What’s your preference in a lady’s figure ? Personally I like a woman who has a nice curvy womanly figure.

Just wondering what others think ?

I like curves on a woman, too slim and I feel inferior, too big and I lose attraction unfortunately, I think I’m fussy though

Personally I find myself attracted to gym bods (presuming it’s the skinny mini ?) however I also find myself rather attracted to a women with curves in all the right places...think from that I’ll say I like both equally haha

What Foreign Gentleman said ^

Skinny, athletic, curvy, fat .. whatever. All womanly.

Personally I like a lady reasonably solidly built, with soft contours. So I know what you’re getting at!

Here we go again! Are you suggesting that slim ladies are not womanly? That they're less of a woman? No need to insult one group of women in order to say you like another.

P.S. slim is a much nicer term than skinny minnie

Isn’t skinny an accepted body classification?

One definition being ‘very lean / thin’.

Much like ‘fat’ or ‘overweight’ it will depend on the context it’s given in. As an insult, unacceptable. But as a genuine descriptor then it can be a valid word to use.

I accept though that “Skinny Minnie” might not be the best turn of phrase!

That’s really a genuine question?

You’ve deliberately made one body type sound unattractive and used loads of positive adjectives to make the other sound attractive, ergo it’s an extremely loaded question!

Bit like saying ‘would you prefer this juicy, succulent, tasty, tender fillet steak - or a piece of brisket!

Gotta love a plumper!

Gotta love a salad-eater!

But then again it's a preference, same as age, colour, sexuality etc, blah blah blah.

There's no ....ism attached to preferring one body type over another.

All bodyshapes are alluring to us, but, we do have our preferences as well.

Pmsl.

Orders popcorn and a G&T.

Sorry it's all gone

It’s ok. I was only joking about the popcorn

So was I... about the popcorn

I’d cry but Apple changed the colon so I can’t.

Oh is THAT why I can’t cry any more? I had wondered! "

Yep. I had a thread on this very subject. I’m now a cold hearted bitch :’(

"Here we go again! Are you suggesting that slim ladies are not womanly? That they're less of a woman? No need to insult one group of women in order to say you like another.

P.S. slim is a much nicer term than skinny minnie

No insult intended. Didn’t mean to demean a type of lady. My apologies to anyone I upset. "

It certainly sounds as though an insult was intended. Just as it would be if someone asked whether people preferred slim healthy women or tubs of lard. Women of all shapes and sizes can be beautiful - but isn't it odd that there is no equivalent of BBW for slim women?

I think bodies come in all shapes and sizes and its not right to body shame any of them .

If you have a preference by all means then go for it ,but no need to be derogatory about what you personally dont like . Very unappealing trait when you have to put down others to try and appeal more to others

WHY do men think these thinly veiled threads will have hoards of lonely, sex rampant, curvy women jumping up and down with joy that men find them attractive?

*Newsflash* women on this site from size zero to 'crane me out the house' get offered sex more times in a day than the average man blinks!

You don't like them as people or as a body type?

If you don't find fat women attractive, that's fair enough. But if you don't like them as people just BECAUSE they're fat then that's a pretty shitty attitude.

Just wondering what others think ?

Yes he did ask what the preference was but the insinuation being that skinny minnies aren't womanly.

its only their if you read it into it he wasn't being derogatory he was saying he prefers curvy we all have preferences is he bad ? I have a much wider spectrum but for me personality means more than size so am I being derogatory to personalityless women if I say that ? "

No but you would be if you clef them dreary or dull.

Calling slim women skinny minnies is derogatory, no other way it can be meant really. Then to say anything other than a skinny minnie is womanly just compounds it. All women are womanly.

"What’s your preference in a lady’s figure ? Personally I like a woman who has a nice curvy womanly figure.

Just wondering what others think ?

I think bodies come in all shapes and sizes and its not right to body shame any of them .

If you have a preference by all means then go for it ,but no need to be derogatory about what you personally dont like . Very unappealing trait when you have to put down others to try and appeal more to others he was just asking what people like hardly derogatory

No if he was mealy asking he'd have just asked what body shape do you prefer . I quote " what's your preference in a ladies figure" then he went onto say I like " a woman with a nice curvy figure" not in the least derogatory sorry you're reading something into it which just isn't there "

No people aren't reading something into it. Time and time again threads like these are started. Yes people have preferences but do they need to put others down? The insinuation that "skinny minis" are in some way less of a real woman is insulting to slim women. Most people can see thro these for what it they are - a pathetic attempt by some men to try and curry favour with one group of women by being offensive to another group. Acts as an excellent filter tho.

I'm sorry you're not understanding what I mean. The title of the thread was skinny minnie or womanly curves.

Actually the insinuation is definitely there in the thread title. "Skinny Minnie OR womanly". Doesn't get plainer than that. disagree "

You disagree that the thread title asks for a preference over skinny Minnie OR womanly figure?? Are you reading a different thread? How can you disagree?

I disagree because I can .....its life I don't think the guy was intending to insult anybody and only those that read it in a negative way would see it as derogatory

You seriously think calling a group of women "Skinny Minnie "is a nice way to refer to them? How charming
