Swinging community

Would you say that the community is a pretty loyal group of people?

From what ive seen so far there are a lot of people who are discreet and wish to remain that way...yet it seems others are happy to be open and " out ".

Yet they dont understand that some people dont want that open-ness.

They comment on certain things...and can be a little shitty with their responses to discretion required status etc

I think the swinging community is a reflection of society in general. Some people are great, friendly, helpful to others, kind. Others are not. Some take people as they find them & accept people’s differences. Others are more judgemental. Some are chatty, others are reserved. There is also a difference between the swinging community & the fab community, as I’m sure many Swingers are not online.

I don’t think you can label the swinging community as a whole in one category, it’s too simplistic.

Such a brilliant reply.

I guess i kind of agree.

The only way i can compare my findings are ....golf.

I play to an ok level but find that there is a hell of a lot of golf snobs out there....ones who think they own the course and begrudge genuine new golfers from playing " their game".

All it means is that you struggle to attract new people to the sport as they can be intimidated by the " golf snobs " .

I know my analagy might be odd...but i think its the same.... new couples and singles will find it tough to fit in and find their way if folk are stand offish and wont allow newbies into the fold.

But i kind of understand it in many ways....too many folk just join thinking its a way of shagging who they want...and i guess thats why some people are the way they are.

Discretion required statuses?

To stop people turning up at your door, dressed up in kinky gear, and shouting "is this the sex party?

To stop strangers walking up to the table in the pub and loudly saying "hello perverts“

Both happened to me.

But most people I've met aren't indiscreet in public, because it's not necessary.

If you are that worried about people discovering you are a swinger, possibly don't go on a swinging web site (go to clubs etc instead)
