If it's against the rules to advertise a kik username on the forum, it's surely against the rules to request 'skype fun', too. So whilst he may not be respecting a persons preference, the OP is more in the wrong here for potentially breaking a rule.

Two completely different things, one is advertising a username and the other is seeking like-minded people for fun times.

Hell of a difference there.
