Split condom has it happened to you?

So swinging can be risky not even for the fact of std's but the occasional condom split can cause your swing friend to get pregnant.

Has this happened to many of you ? Me and my gf have sex regular and always wear a condom, i can honestly say weve had about 2/3 break in 8 years of regular sex.

I couldnt imagin the feeling and thoughts going through our minds if she was having sex with a swing friend and the condom broke/ or if i was havig sex with another girl and it broke.

When we were younger we used condoms as contraception for a while. We had a couple of breakages and I always took the morning after pill. It made me feel rubbish for a couple of days but prevented worry.

If condoms break while swinging I'd advise the map and bringing your check forward.

Ribbed condoms are horrible in my opinion they made me very sore when we used them, Skyns are favourite as far as I'm concerned.

There’s no such thing as safe sex if you’re having multiple partners, just safer sex. You need to weigh up whether the risk is worth it.

Would your relationship survive if you got another woman pregnant? Or, what if the other woman didn’t tell you she was pregnant and 18 years later your grown up child finds you? Or if a woman was pregnant by another man but said it’s yours? Obviously you’ could have a DNA test but the stress would be immense. So many possibilities and that’s without the worry of STI’s.

But, we all know the risks, we just need to decide if they’re worth taking.

From a slightly different angle having a good fitting condom is critical to me. Had they joy of meeting a couple where the lady seemed to know her rubbers, she looked me over like a Savile Row tailor, give it a feel here and there and recommended a Durex Elite, it fit like a glove

Split condoms have happened to me before, more than once. I worry myself stupid, take myself off to the GUM clinic for a check up and fortunately have been fine.

To echo another post, there is no such thing as 100% safe sex, but condoms make it safer.

Has happened to me maybe 6 times over the years, sometimes swinging and sometimes with girls I was dating. Usually I noticed and stopped but a couple of times only noticed after the end. Each time tested and she took the morning after, which isn’t an especially pleasant experience by all accounts.

Much better to use good quality condoms and make sure they are a good fit.

Why is it stupid to discuss the consequences of an accident? There was intention to stay safe. unfortunately, accidents happen but I don’t think it’s fair to those involved to call them stupid.

A split condom is a very real concern for many people. Dismissing their valid fears like you do is simply not on.

A condom is a risk reducer, and if it splits then that adds a risk they did not want.

You seem to believe only your opinion is correct, and everyone who disagrees is an idiot.

I think you will find this is complete nonsense. There is a risk of disease spreading if either partner has one.

If there was cum involved, and she isn’t on any other birth control there is a risk of pregnancy.

What you have said is completely biologically wrong.

This happened to me a few years ago. The

woman was extra vigerous and the condom came off. Neither of us realised that it had happened until withdrawal after I had come. We looked for the condom and couldn't find it.

She went into the shower and later she shouted "found it," which made me laugh.

No problem, just lucky.

Yes we’ve had this at a club when we first started swinging we were young and didnt know much about swinging. A guy joined us he pulled out and even grabbed some tissue as if he was taking off a condom we carried on playing want until the next day fem had bad pains and Found a condom left in her. He was a regular at the club until we reported what he had done. Now She makes sure the one when it goes in and still then when it comes out. Luckily she was on the pill and test were all clear. It’s the only one time it’s happened in 11 years

It's happened to me and I didn't really understand the consequences. Told my friend about it and she took me to the family planning clinic for the morning after pill. And now over a decade later... I'd do exactly the same and a trip to the GUM clinic for tests. I'm not on the pill and I am extra careful. I rarely sleep with men anyway.

Biologicaly, if you consider all odds even those below 0.005%, condoms are NOT safe.

Biologicaly, safe sex is cyber sex and to be safer even then use a condom cos who can trust those naughty wifi electromagnetic fields?..

Realisticaly, i dont think you will ever find anyone who caught anything from a split condom, you will only find “lucky” escapes

Statistically, the “lucky” if repeated becomes the norm and what very rarely occurs (sti transmission) becomes the exception.

Based on logic and simple mathematic analysis, even though theoriticaly there is a possibility to get an sti, the reality proves that it is extremely unlikely.

You have every right to be phobic, i choose to be realistic.

Exactly. When reasonable debate fails you, and you cannot provide constructive useful comments that support your position... you take it the extreme and make the entire debate a farce.

We are all aware that condoms still carry a level of risk.

People who choose to use them are managing that risk to a level they feel comfortable with.

I don’t think they need to worry about their condoms breaking.

They advocate bareback at every opportunity and shout down anyone who dares suggest it could have risks. "

Ah right... That is totally up to them and I'm not judging people who do bareback, i just stay well clear of them. No excuse for them to have a go at people who play safe. Not worth another reply or a single second of our time as far as I'm concerned x

edinburgh

Know a guy who this happened to with a prostitute in Hamburg. He'd been fucking her and finished inside her, he only noticed when he pulled out and the tip of the condom was hanging off. He said the girl didn't seem bothered and laughed it off she only used a baby wipe to clean her minge which caused him great panic, to top it all off he wasn't single. She'd just had a child so luckily for him sex wasn't on her mind

He eventually waited a couple of weeks and got the all clear but he was still panicking for weeks later until he got checked for HIV

Unless your single or your partner knows you play with other girls or even prostitutes then unless you want to have weeks on weeks of sleepless nights then keep it in your pants for the boys or keep your knickers on for the girls

We can read just fine. Hope your condom splits x

I don’t think they need to worry about their condoms breaking.

You’re wrong..!!!

We’re the first who say that bareback sex leads to instant death...!!!

It’s just because we’re suicidal that we have chosen to enjoy natural sex with other married couples like us

Exactly. When reasonable debate fails you, and you cannot provide constructive useful comments that support your position... you take it the extreme and make the entire debate a farce.

We are all aware that condoms still carry a level of risk.

People who choose to use them are managing that risk to a level they feel comfortable with.

You become absurdly petty for one who claims to be so intelligent. "

Reasonable debate talking about the health risks of a split condom in an heterro encounter?

Where’s the reason in that?

You can only ridicule such a conversation and I choose to do so.

You wanna go on about the risk of 0.001%, then ok make a big issue out of it.

For me you’re all a bunch of uneducated idiots.

As i said. 3 layers of cling film before you put a condom on so if it breaks you’re still safe..!!!

That only goes to prove my point that even if it happens with a high risk person, still the odds are extremely low, next to 0% to catch an std.

You cannot read either.

I never had a go at people who practice safe sex. I come from Greece the land where free will, democracy and freedom of opinion was populated to the World.

I just ridicule the std fear of a broken condom.
