I have read some posts about bareback sex and risks but didn't know the facts or stats so after a bit of web searching the best info I could find online is the:

Sexually transmitted infections factsheet on the FPA website

and Sexual and Reproductive Health Profiles on the public health England website.

If anyone knows any better info let me know.

Okidoke!

Care to summarise your findings into a couple of paragraphs op?

It’d be very useful if you could!

I can't there's way too much information.

You can do a local search of your area on the second website that you may find interesting.

It was surprisingly difficult to find any useful info on the web.

I would imagine something along the lines of:

Don’t bareback a shed load of random one-offs and look after your own sexual health as you shouldn’t rely on others to do it for you.

Couldn’t have said it better myself, not rocket science really!?!?

I don't believe that. Another thread poster told us married couples can't catch STIs, and there's nothing a bit of Canestan can't mop up..

They can't, dicks are meant to covered in warts, it's normal. Doesn't mean you have anything. Actually warts fall off when the person gets AIDs so it's the guys who don't have a dick that looks like corn on the cob that you need to watch out for.

The only info they have is for people that got tested. No info on people that don't get tested. Statistics are skewed and can't be relied on for any kind of true picture.

I'd be interested to know the % of sexually active people that do get tested though. I bet it's low.

Just do it op and report back if you catch anything so we know to steer clear

I am posted because people were posting statistics on other threads but no sources so when other people post what they think they just give opinions without being able to backup what their post.

Personally I don't do bareback with one off meets and get tested just in case.

The map feature shows London is the highest place for sti's but other people can type in their area and find out the local statistics.
