depends where - home, club etc but keep people in the loop especially after they show interest - personally i prefer if you show a guest list to the people confirmed as nothing worse than a bad atmosphere if people want to avoid folk -

Bedworth

We’ve hosted a few parties.

Waterproof sheets on the bed to preserve your mattress, or inflatable air beds in the play areas. Bins everywhere! Offer tea and coffee and some soft drinks, but not booze (bring their own if they want it). Very simple finger buffet/snacks. Make sure everyone knows your feelings about smoking, a gazebo or brolly in the garden is perfect if you want them to smoke outdoors. Half the people you invite probably won’t show so be aware that it may be quieter than you expect.

It’s not really that different than a normal house party, apart from the sex

Pretty much the same for us. We’ve hosted a few parties. However we’ve not often had the issue of people not turning up. In fact we had 38 at our first party ( was aiming for had that but they all turned up )

I would also say only invite people you’ve met before. We’ve invited people we’ve not met before and it’s difficult to gauge if personalities match.

Dorset

Hire your local adult club for a private function and invite everyone there, save the mess the breakages, ruined furniture, and the prying neighbours.
