Maturing (aka getting older!)

I've been thinking about how getting older affects our preferences for a partner.

When we're younger we tend to restrict the age group we're interested in. As we get older we seem to relax this. Why is this?

Perhaps we're more savvy as we get older knowing sex gets better with age, we become more relaxed, we see our bodies differently (i.e. we've a different take on attractiveness), just about 'supply and demand', or perhaps something else?

There is getting older and there is maturing. The two aren’t necessarily coincident.

Because I prefer a mature gentleman that has tended to put my preference a good few years ahead of my own, especiallly for partner choices below the age of 30. When I came to being single again the other year (in my early 40s) I would have relaxed my usual 10+ year rule. As it worked out I had a horrific experience with a not so mature guy a year younger than me before I met FT who is 13 years my senior and much more aligned with my own outlook.

Older , maturer is so much better. Not only do we get a bit more senseable but sexually well I am more in tune with my body and my needs and also th needs of those I am with. I do believe women not only sexually mature at an older age but they just know what they want. Yea sure a young 19 yr old pup will be like a rabbit but will he get the best orgasms you doupt it. I bet the ladies on here will say thier orgasms are 100 times better than they were when they were In thier 20s

Age isn’t everything but maturity is.
