Veris older than joined date

I am chatting to someone who's verification is showing as older than when they joined? Can anyone clarify?

Maybe he was on a different account before deleting it, he then set up the one he is on now and then asked the person he met previously to verify him again on his new profile.. hope that makes sense . x

It'll be a cross over.

I think your joined date narrows it down to a calendar month.

For example you join on the 25th of January, and get a verification on the 27th. The joined date will only recognise from the 1st of the month, whereas the verifications are narrowed down more. It would only say you'd joined a month ago on the first of March. However the verification would say it was from two months ago because it has crossed over two months since it was left.

Hope that makes sense. But don't quote me!

Photo dates can also give the impression they joined after uploading the photo, because the exact date appears on the photo.
