hidden profile???

whats the piont of been on here if your going to hide your profile? is it so you can perv on others and they cant see you seem a bit unfair dont you think.

Lots of people hide their profiles if they are taking a break fom swinging, makes more sence than leaving and re joining the site every time you want a few weeks off that way you dont loose all your verifications and look like a new comer, as its very hard to meet if your newly joined with no veries

i hid my profile once as it does not show when your online and i used to have a guy that just bombarded me with mail every time i logged, on so i hide so he couldnt see when i was online

People hide their profile for the reasons that others have stated.

We all need breaks and so its just easier to have the profile hidden than replying to each and every mail.

I haven't hidden my profile as such but I'm not meeting at the minute. There's no huge mystery etc, I just can't be arsed and find myself wanting to do normal things like cooking and cleaning and enjoying my new furniture and house at the minute.

I like the forum tho so I am not coming off the site

I've hidden ours when we've been on holiday, when my dad died and also when I just need 'time out' from swinging and a chance to catch up with real life... Doesn't stay hidden for massively long and it doesn't make me any less 'real' when it is hidden

Well said! Ours has been hidden mainly cos i have been having medical tests...all clear thankfully

Would the OP prefer he wasted his time messaging people who are not meeting at the moment?

And hiding a profile is a much better way in my experience than writing 'not meeting at the moment' on your profile - 'cos that seems to get ignored by most!(friends excluded)

Well i have been on here a few years now and don't always want to swing 12 months of the year so i can hide my profile or delete if i don't want messaging. I choose to hide it so i don't have to set another one up. Think on it like this. If a profile is hidden you dont end up time messaging someone who isn't interested.

Because the site has an option for it and people can use it if they wish, for whatever reason
