I've just suffered with a rupture cyst on my ovary size of a egg and obviously this has out me off sex. I'm not sure if I would develop this again. Does anyone else suffer with cyst and how to you manage it with this life style.

I have suffered with ovarian cysts, was hospitalised 3 times, due to the infection it causes when they rupture!! It's nasty and I feel for you, very painful xx I had a coil in which the docs thought was causing the problem. I have had the coil out for a couple of years now and not had any further problems.. Feel free to PM if you wish....

My niece had an ovarian cyst when she was quite young, she had an awful lot of pain and it was caught before it ruptured; hers was a lot bigger than an egg and sadly she lost her ovary and fallopian tube, there were concerns mainly buy her family that it would recur but 10 years later she's not had any problems.

Hopefully the doctors will monitor you and check for problems at regular intervals.

Thank u. Yes hospital at Christmas wasn't great. But I'm home and free x

In case sex becomes to uncomfortable or painful

If it’s gone, you should be fine but if it is a bit uncomfortable, stop or change position but you should be ok.

Cysts caused my wife's loss of interest in sex some years ago - it became painful in certain positions at first, and ended up being uncomfortable at the least in any....

....despite eventually having a hysterectomy, she's never regained her sex drive - doesn't hurt her any more, she just lost her libido....
