we are still trying to grasp whether letting someone else fuck your other half is cheating on them, in a swingers environment.

We hear it all the time in a lub on on profiles. How can you be happy in yout relationship, love them but allow someone else to fuck them?

If it's done without the other partner knowing, it is cheating.

If it is an accepted part of the way the couple choose to play and all are in agreement, including the other guy doing the deed then it is part of swinging.

That's our $0.02 anyway...

To the average person on the street, if you have an agreement / understanding with your partner how can it be cheating ?

We see swinging as something that we both do together. Yes we have other people involved, but we're still doing it together. Even when we're having sex with others, we still might reach out to hold hands or have a kiss... or just look into each other's eyes.

Plus, we both understand that love and sex are not exclusively linked.

Put it this way. I have a Lambo and you have a Ferrari. We both love hot cars. Neither of us can fully appreciate the bodywork or performance when driving them, so we swap and enjoy the thrill of admiring both cars from an outside perspective.

BTW Lou is NOT a car, that’s just plain weird.

I’m sure you must be aware that this is a swinging site . And yet you ask such a naive question ....

The very basis of swinging is the freedom within a relationship to swap sexual partners . Most of us are able to distinguish between sex and love . For us , our love for each other is so strong that we have no issue in seeing each other have sex with others . The fact that it is extremely erotic , horny and induces a feeeling of sheer lust for each other is a major reason for doing it .

Is it cheating ?

Of course it isn’t !

We love it and only do it together . How can that be cheating ?

I’m surprised anyone would ask such a question on here to be honest .

I think it's a fair question, some people soft swing or just like to be watched. It'a like asking why people like gangbangs or sex outdoors or anything really. Just to get an insight.

I think it's good to learn how other people do things/ why they like things. It's interesting and hearing why other people like things might ignite a spark that makes the person want to try it too.

Some couples get off knowing their partner is having a meet an they are stuck at work. Once they get back home they want to hear all about it. Or clean up etc. Many scenarios. Doesn’t have to be done together. But does have to be an agreement for it not to be cheating.

Mmmm.... I’m not so sure about that to be honest . I can accept that unless one asks questions with a mind to possibly gain an insight , and maybe ignite a spark , could be a fair reason to ask . But the very essence of swinging is having sex with other people . To even suggest that maybe this is cheating , and that you can’t love your partner if you do this is naive at the very least .

I wouldn’t dream of joining a website promoting monogamy and then suggest that they are wrong in any way for this kind of behaviour on its forum .

I get that you’re just discussing , and that’s cool .

The question from the op was ‘ his can you be happy in your relationship , and love them yet allow them to fuck someone else ‘ , which I have no doubt is a question many non swingers ask .

But this is asked by a couple on a swinging site , and to be fair , not a newbie .

So if I joined a Catholic site , and asked how anyone could believe in an immaculate conception , I would expect to be somewhat berated by other members .

This is my point , we are on a swinging site and for a couple to ask if it’s cheating and in some way suggest that a couple who swing can’t love each other and have an unhappy relationship is astonishing .

It does seem if you struggle with the idea of if its cheating or not then swinging may not be for you.

I’m embarrassed to admit that I cheated on my wife once even though we were involved in swinging at the time.

I can tell you for sure it’s possible to cheat on someone even though you are happy in your relationship and in love.

It’s one of those thinking with your dick moments, flattered that someone else is interested etc. it was purely sex though, no emotional envolvement but still embarrassed about it but that is because we were in a strong and loving relationship
