How many messages do you reckon get reported to admin daily?

I myself have reported about 10 abusive messages within the past few days.

I can't even remember how many since I joined.

Must be in the hundreds at least?

I get two or three on a daily basis but I don't report them.Ive just come to the conclusion that there's some really sick indeviduals on here.

I reckon hundeds if not thousands. Full time job and hence why Admin don't reply to say how they handled the report.

We don't have single men blocked and to be fair we don't get huge amounts of mail anyway so percentage wise we may be no different.

We had something along the lines of nice tits but try running your pig belly off, admittedly he may have had my health in mind just not very tactile

. This was our only contact with them so completely unsolicited.

I didn't say you deserved it.

I have no idea why some people get abusive mail and some people dont.

In four years I’ve had 2 mildly abusive messages! The first time i opened a discussion and the guy ended up apologising - the second time I blocked him because he wouldn’t stop messaging!

I have an Uber friendly profile so I think that helps!

To be fair I also don’t have time to open most of my messages (1,200+ at the moment) - so in fairness there could be a few nasty ones in there that I’ve missed! X

I wouldn't call a few words on a screen abuse. It's all easily deleted and forgotten about. We wouldn't waste our time reporting.

oh loads! Must be hard work on here Haha! It's a pain deleting unwanted friends requests might just leave them to build up now

Tbh I never used to until I started getting racial abuse and that's when I started.

I'm not easily offended but some guys take it way to far so I report them

I haven't had to report a single message in all our time on Fab. We've had a few strange ones and a few unintelligible ones, but none that have been in any way abusive. Mainly kind, friendly and complimentary.

Yeah that's basically my theory too. Plus, I don't like the thought that some people are asking for illegal (and abusive) things and they might find a match on this site and the activities might happen.

Well just for the sake of parity , and in case newbies may be reading the thread , I would like to reiterate that in over seven years we haven’t received any mail which mentions any illegal or abusive activities .

I’m not saying it doesn’t happen , but no doubt it happens on every social media site out there , and here ( being a more liberated swinging site ) may attract the odd weirdo . But it’s far from a den of complete inequity .

There are thousands of lovely people on fab , and the freaks are not an issue for most of us .

No one has said it's exclusive to this site nor has anyone said that there aren't a large majority of amazing people on here either.

By mentioning the fact that youve never received abusive messages it seems as if you're trying to dismiss those that have and do on a regular basis

Not at all , I’m not trying to dismiss those who have received them at all . I’m merely stating that it’s not like that for everyone .

And I don’t see any reference anywhere apart from my post , mentioning the vast majority of wonderful people on the site .

I’m simply adding balance , I’ve no axe to grind here .

I’ve mentioned it a couple of times , just as you’ve mentioned your issues a few times too . I’m sorry you have these messages , I really am . But what would new members make of these posts ?

I’m not sure your problems are a true reflection of the experience for the majority of site users .
