Ways to verify before meets

Recently I was chatting to someone on kik and we'd sent photos so I said let's either video or talk on phone.

She was shocked at this which immediately got me thinking Fake..

So my question is do other people do the same - use Skype WhatsApp kik etc to confirm Some one is who they claim to be?

I think you have to go with your instincts about people,if they are not verified.

It is these unverified people mainly or people with one only.

There are other ways to verify I'm sure like photo with name on or something but that's a bit weird I find

Yes every time. It gets rid of the dreamers and you can see they are who the say they are, particularly important with women and couples.

This is for those who have pm'd me to help you guys....

*HELP FOR NEWBIES/NO MEETS**

This section is especially for you singles and couples that feel the urge to pm me and ask for advice etc, now you don't have to it's all here for you!

1. Read FAQ section, particularly the part about no reply, no interest, it's not considered rude. Do not bother with the Sydney university shit on your profile, it means nothing.

2. Work on your profile: decent pics and a good bio, tick interests. Put a profile pic on.

3. Get photo verified, particularly important if you are a couple or single female.

4. Get cam verified to start, you can go into the cam rooms and ask someone to help you with this. Couples must both be on at the same time.

5. Read a profile before messaging, it's polite.

6. Read existing forum threads on profile advice, some very good ones.

7. Post your own thread to ask for feedback, (not a whinging, whining entitled one!).

8. Act on said advice.

9. Go to local socials/clubs, meet people in public places.

10. Lastly, enjoy your time on fab!

Yes, was about to say that you want a phone chat or on the message system (might have to be a site supporter) they can instantly take a photo and send it. As the poster above says, the current date on a piece of paper but put it on your tits, penis etc.. photograph and send it. Just takes a minute in this day and age.

Or social meet in a pub.

WhatsApp, then chat on the phone when we had meets.

Doesn't always work of course, but it goes a little way towards verification.

I hate talking on the phone and have had people accuse me of being fake then but that's fine.

With the new direct picture I would just ask them to send a direct picture holding something up or doing something unique.

You can normally tell when they are fake but how they talk I think.

Thanks all - sounds like I'm doing the same as everyone.

I did ask a recent girl on kik to send me a photo with my name on and date; expecting it on a piece of paper. Opened the photo, she'd written it over her tits..

Nice surprise on Christmas morn.

We arrange a social meet in a neutral location.

I dont jump thro hoops for anyone. I have been on this scene long enough to know alot of people who know I am genuine. I won't do phone chat (turns into wank fodder and some weirdo having my number) or cam. Doesn't make me fake.

I stick with chatting on here or kik to arrange an initial social meet. I never cam or chat on the phone first, and I've never had any problems with guys not being genuine. I won't jump through hoops to meet someone, so I don't expect men to either

We have had two instances of guys going quiet just before we were due to set a time and location to meet them. Apart from that everyone we've arranged to meet has turned up. They haven't all been the age, weight and height they've claimed though.

We always insist on kik chat 1st with a quick cam ‘hello’ to prove we’re all there and who we say we are! We’ve been on here for years and can normally sniff out the fakes but some are so bloody convincing and have verifications too - normally from past relationships on here that are no more

Kik is free and has video... why would you refuse a quick video chat?
