Is there any lesbian on here who has a story of how other girls hit on them so many times that they eventually gave in and became lesbians?

Are there any straight ladies on here who can say that they used to be lesbians and got hit on by so many guys that they eventually became straight?

U can still venture that bisexual females seek out bisexual men, heterosexual men, and (bi) women. The logic so far points to the fact the bisexual men will seek out other bi and homosexual men, and women ( bi or heterosexual)

The permutation of who seeks out who is not the point here. The worry here is that society is making it acceptable for one aspect of the debate to talk and walk with their chests out while the other side of the debate is being discussed only in the backstreets.

I hang my g string on the line at the bus stop and you have to duck underneath to get on the bus but you dare not hang your granny panties on the same line.

There is no way of knowing that the bus driver is gay straight bi or whatever and that is the way it should be. If on the other hand, he/she/etc had an LGBTQ wrist band on, is that acceptable? If he/she/tee has on a wristband that says STRAIGHT, is that acceptable?

Should they both be fired? If on the other hand, I have Noway of knowing the sexual preference or orientation of my local Gp/ bus driver/ social worker/ then conducting " business" with them will be so much professional and devoid of all the ooos and aaaahs that could be brought in.

Op I think you’re living about 3 decades ago, in this day and age it’s acceptable to be any sexual orientation, you’re talking about people being fired in certain professions because they’re bi or anything else when in fact that’s now illegal, also who cares wether your bus driver or mp is straight or gay? I may be wrong, but I think the main thrust of the OP's question was, are we going too much towards appeasement of those who choose an alternative lifestyle, in that they can "shout it from the rooftops", but if anyone is of a mind to dissent, they get castigated for it.

Preference is just that and no one is forced to do anything that they don't want to do. Anything else is wrong, in any direction. I feel like I've entered a time warp and been thrown back 100 years.

The natural force is to let consenting adults live as they wish. Accepting others opens no floodgates that converts the rest of society, due to wristband pressure

But if we're to say that people should keep it to themselves that they're gay at work to be professional then maybe others shouldn't talk about their husbands and wives at work either and keep everything you know- strictly professional. Obviously I don't feel this way because it's frankly ridiculous. People are allowed opposing views but we're also allowed to challenge those views.

Homophobes have had a few of decades of having to 'appease' gay/bi people while in some countries you can still be murdered and imprisoned for being so. Have your views but tolerance of intolerance is the end of tolerance and it should always be challenged. In my opinion

On one hand, I completely agree. I mean, I've been knocked back more time than I can remember. But on the other hand, if a profile on here says "I'm straight, not interested in men" and they chose to ignore that and contact you anyway, it can get a little boresome.

However! That's why the admin created message filters. So, block those you don't want to hear from. It's about 7 clicks, if you're lazy.

Do women get other women trying to convert them? I believe in leaving people to do what they want but not forcing other people to do same. This is becoming an issue gradually and unless there is protection for all, this benign thing is gradually snowballing into something that we cannot manage.

In Short, I am a heterosexual male and therefore seek out only heterosexual females. By extension, I guess lesbians seek out heterosexual women. U can still venture that bisexual females seek out bisexual men, heterosexual men, and (bi) women. The logic so far points to the fact the bisexual men will seek out other bi and homosexual men, and women ( bi or heterosexual)

The permutation of who seeks out who is not the point here. The worry here is that society is making it acceptable for one aspect of the debate to talk and walk with their chests out while the other side of the debate is being discussed only in the backstreets.

I hang my g string on the line at the bus stop and you have to duck underneath to get on the bus but you dare not hang your granny panties on the same line.

I sense something brewing up.

There is no way of knowing that the bus driver is gay straight bi or whatever and that is the way it should be. If on the other hand, he/she/etc had an LGBTQ wrist band on, is that acceptable? If he/she/tee has on a wristband that says STRAIGHT, is that acceptable?

Should they both be fired? If on the other hand, I have Noway of knowing the sexual preference or orientation of my local Gp/ bus driver/ social worker/ then conducting " business" with them will be so much professional and devoid of all the ooos and aaaahs that could be brought in.

Absolutely, 100% and this is the thing. Obviously I'm not saying that people should constantly hound others even after a polite no, or like you say, it states on the person's profile that they aren't interested in men and people keep trying anyway but my main point is that harrassment can come in various forms. A local girl had a status on a few weeks ago about a man who went to the trouble of having five profiles, all of various ages and preferences- two of which he'd paid for! She had to knock back every profile and block him to stop him contacting her. I go out with lesbian friends who won't even hold hands or show affection to each other in straight bars because immediately some straight lads will make comments or make inappropriate comments about taking them both home as if they're only there to serve their wants and needs... even in jest there is a more worrying angle to think about with this.

With my profile, people often contact me to ask if I'll fuck them or if they can blow me despite what it says on my profile and when I say no the attitude changes or they ask why I won't do as they ask... and these messages often aren't from those who identify on their profile as gay or bi.

My biggest gripe with the OP is that he's asking if we're living in cloud cuckoo land by not allowing a certain narrative and it seems to be a narrative where people should still be allowed to say to others, 'I don't like your lifestyle so keep it to yourself please,' so that anybody who does identify as gay or bi should still go about their business quietly. The irony is that the less people have these attitudes the less push-back there'll be. I don't want to wear a wristband telling people who I sleep with at work, or seduce and convert all the straight men... though there's been a few I wouldn't have minded. Haha. I find it all a little bizarre too that his are views that are shared on a site where people are looking for sex.

I feel far too political for this time of the morning! Haha
