I've wondered this myself, I've recently found out that my Gran was fascinated by naturist camps, now I know it's not swinging but this was going back to the 50's and 60's and it's just the kind of thing I'd be fascinated with too if Swinging was not readily available.

I've also found out that my sister and her ex husband went to swinging clubs, she loved it he hated it. I'm hoping that her new man isn't in too it as I'd hate to bump into them at a club.

I think if a family is quite open and liberated towards sex then there is a good chance that a large proportion of the family members might try swinging, especially if you consider how popular swinging has become. Its almost mainstream now lol

It’s all about how you approach life and how you were brought up. If you were brought up in a relaxed environment challenged to explore and be adventurous from a young age then when you turn sexual you will follow that onto sexual experiences and swinging will be an option.

In that sense your parents who taught you that way are of same mindset so likely would be open to swinging.

Vs some people are instantly closed off to the idea. Personally the female needs to be more open to agree/enjoy swinging as the mental challenges such as body image, feeling wanted, emotional connection etc not to mention feelings of jealousy or that their partner may run off with a ‘younger’ ‘better’ person.

Guys on other hand see sexual encounters more robotically and more eager to say yes.

To be fair it was all surprising normal and not weird. They all did they're seperate thing and have seperate freinds etc. They are say hello, how's things etc in the social area just as you would bumping into family at in any pub. But they dont hang out together. I was introduced to them in the social area. Beyond the social area completely seperate entities. Like I said not a big deal and not creepy. They just happen to enjoy the same scene and the same club. Its kind of what being a mature adult looks like.

However on the down side it also means the dark room is off limits
