You're right that it's a disappointment. Don't give a third opportunity.

Unless there was a legitimate reason and communication before the time for not turning up the first time, there wouldn't be a second.

It only takes a second to send a message to someone to save a wasted journey or expense. Even if they just get cold feet, its better for them to be honest rather than "ghost" you.

Never give a second opportunity to someone who's let you down. Just block and move on.

If they didnt turn up the first time and didnt give you a very reasonable reason why. Then you should have known. They are the type that "get off" on knowing you want to meet them.. best off ignored.

Had a no show the other night but,as I always arrange to meet people at a time and place of my choosing,in this case a pub where I was going to be anyway,it's not a wasted evening. That's how to do it to avoid disappointment, don't put yourself out or go out of your way.Let them come to you and if they don't show up,it's their loss.

Had a very nice evening with three guys I met in the bar BTW.I said it was not a wasted evening.

Always stings more after arranging a meet, building your hopes up, get excited. Then that disappointment they ghosted or didn’t show up. Until it happens to them, they won’t understand how much it stings.

We have lots of cancellations or people who just vanish before the arranged meet. A message softens the blow, it’s the not knowing why that hurts more. At least if it’s a valid reason you can move in or rearrange.

Don’t give a second chance if they didn’t warn you beforehand. You’re worth more than that. Xx

Definitely only one chance given if they don't let me know. Or at the last minute.

Block button is good.

They might get a second chance if a legitimate reason given.

One would think they do it on purpose for kicks. Keep you hanging on and hanging on until the very last minute. Maybe they get some pleasure out of knowing you could have been on a genuine meet and they've scuppered it.

Who knows? There's nowt as queer as folk.

Oh the irony if that "better meet" turned out to be a timewaster

Sadly no shows seem a common occurrence across the board (couples, ladies & guys). Maybe it is me but it seems to be worse now than ever. Is it worth reporting them? Outing them?

Words fail me, I genuinely don't get it, please help me, is there people who go to all the "trouble" of getting a meet but also have a "rather have" meet lined up as well?

I know this isn't a dating site but surely respect and a modicum of commitment should prevail?

After chatting to a woman for weeks we arranged to meet on Wednesday.I booked the day off work and rearranged all my plans for the day.

The time come and went and she didn't turn up.There was no sorrys from her and the only thing she did was block me on here and blocked my phone number x
