No Im not a sex addict.

I would imagine it would be similar to any other addiction, when sex becomes an obsession and distorts the normal day to day functioning of the sufferer, where having sex is more important than anything else, ie; family, work, money and has to be attained with little regard for anyone else.

Hopefully there arent too many sex addicts on this site.

The condition refered to is called 'Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome' and its different to nymphomania. PSAS is a physical condition that causes intense pain, throbbing and discomfort for the women who suffer from it.

Lots of people make lighthearted of certain mental health conditions or addictions. People will often say they have OCD just because they are neat and tidy. They wouldn't say they have a mental health problem though.

Same as addictions and in this case sex addiction. You may like sex but you aren't an addict. I doubt the sex addict would have so many filters, age ranges etc. They would most probably have sex with anyone who asked and would more than likely be looking for sex several times a day Of course I don't know for certain as I'm not a psychiatrist
