Does this actually work?

We often get messages from some desperately optimistic guys inviting us to meet them at nearby hotels they're staying in.

We'd never do that. The chat, flirting and build up is a big part of the fun for us (though we accept we all approach this swinging lark from different angles).

So the question is; do these guys actually get people to visit them at the drop of a hat?

I suppose it's a 1 in a million chance as opposed to 0 , glass half full etc. Plus it's a room you can use. Why not try. Never know afterall if the moon is blue and the tide is red it could happen

I used to get these messages on a daily basis, and they do really piss me off, as they don't include any info or pictures.

I started to respond with 'I'll just get my coat'

It took them a while to suss out I didn't actually know what hotel they were in

We wouldn’t, for us there needs to be more interaction before the messy stuff begins but this post has made me think.....for us it seems we need to go through a mini/speed courtship process, a friendly conversation, mutual physical attraction, a laugh and joke and a general good feeling.

That might only take an hour but without it I don’t think swinging would work for us

I got chatting to a sales rep on here who was staying a night in my home town and was looking for a nearby club. After deciding everywhere I recommended was too far from her hotel she invited me over for a meet instead. Had a fantastic evening, so Yes, they do happen and do work out.

After chatting, yeah that might work out really well. Chat is usually what's missing though. No chat, just a random invite from someone without even knowing what they look like

I stay over in Manchester fairly regular, and am yet to meet anyone on the spur of the moment.

However I have had meets at my hotel after first chatting on here, then meeting for a drink before all agreed to return to my room.

I've also had just socials on my visits, it's just that I have a room and can accommodate if needed.

I don't see why it should be any different to accommodating at your home. I guess it depends on how you want to play.

I stay away two or three nights every week but I always put a meet up on my profile as well as messaging a lady who has caught my eye to chat with prior to me getting to my location. I regularly visit the same locations over and over again.

Yes! it works for me. I wouldn't meet that night as I like a bit of notice usually. Saying that, one of the best meets I had was a short notice hotel meet!

I personally can't stand days and days of chat, it bores me senseless! For me the chatters aren't shaggers!

Hotels get around that I don't accom. And I'm possibly safer there than going to the guy's home as lots of people around so I could scream. Plus I would be on cctv in reception.

Yes it does work for some people.

I met a man at a hotel one night to fulfill a fantasy, though he did message me a couple of days before to say he was staying in my area. We exchanged a few messages then left it at that until I knocked on his hotel door.

It’s 50/50. A few of my meets have been spur of the moment hotel meeys after a drink in the bar if all agreeable, then back to the room. Sometimes I get a lot of interest and no meet, and other times little interest which turns into a really pleasurable meet for all. Very rare do I get a response from a single lady, but that is understandable. I always exchange face pics, and I have good verifications, so don’t be shy, next time I have a hotel, come along they are usually 4 and 5 star, not a Travellodge.
