just had a convo with some1 to arrange a meet all was ok until she asked us to puck her up when we told her that we don't drive she stopped replying turns out she don't drive and she wont catch buses what's all this about surely there has to be give on both sides

why we were never given the option she wanted to meet in a public place (we understand safety first and would adopt the same policy ) but were never given the chance even tho it does say in the profile meet locally and we offered that but it wasn't good enough

im not saying i agree with her but to be honest as a single woman you really can make such demandes and people will do it, for every one persoon who wont pick you up theres a 100 who will so most will just move onto them

If she wants to meet a couple, get picked up, taken to a hotel, have a play and then be taken home there are loads out there willing to do that, i know cause i get such offers as i dont drive, so if you cant provide what other can she will just look else where

Unfair but thats how it works on here

we no every1 has preferances but when it states on profile will need to be picked up or meet localy then i dont see why we were turned down when we live a mile or so away

nah to be honest i do think thats daft, but i can only talk from my point of view, i used to meet a guy who lived great bridge and i walked it to him, as it was only about a 20 min walk, i means whats a mile in a taxi less than a fiver?

but each to their own some are more willing to make the effort than others

I think arrangements are best negotiated on the phone personally. Also, I am surprised that a single fem wanted to show people exactly where she lives without meeting them first at least. I also find it hard to accept any adult incapable to get around in this day and age. Wouldnt be for us.

i dont think its a case of incapable more a case of cant be arsed

I dont dive but i still mange to get to meets, tho i like to stay local on first meets, but once i have met someone and i know they are genuine and we like each other im more than happy to get trains, taxi's if they dont live to far etc

I think lots of single bi women on here let the fact they are highly in demande go to their head and start just expecting others to jump thro hoops for them

And to be honest if they can get away with it and people are willing to pick them up etc fair play to them

Not for me tho because i wouldnt give a total stranger off here my address to be able to come pic me up

I lady who wouldn't meet at home (as her kids are there) but doesn't drive wanted me to take her to a club and drop her home afterwards.

She lives near Sheffield, the club near Birmingham, and I'm in High Wycombe.

Even if I drove.. you can imagine how that conversation went (apparently this is what her meets do).

i dont drive and dont have the money to travel (as on benefits). i dont contact people who are miles away from me as i dont see it fair travelling such miles for sex when they can get it nearer to themselves.

if guys cant travel to me then i either keep in touch as friends or simply dont have sex.i wouldnt expect a guy to travel more than an hour to get to me, and thats the max time,as if i did travel i would only travel for an hour, so expect the same.

if guys really want me, then they will pay a bit of petrol to get to me.but i make sure they really do as i dont like to waste anyones time or money for the sake of sex.

Sounds like there might be a business opportunity for a Swingers Bus Service. It travels to you, you pay a modest fair, you get on board, you play with the other passengers, then it drops you back at home. Sorted!

why people feel the need to make excuses ?

i rarely meet people i don't know on a pre-planned basis, so if i can't be arsed or if i've got too comfy, i'll just say so.

sometimes i stick the 'meet today' tab on when i get in from work and then hear nothing from anyone til later on that evening.

by that time, the likelyhood is i will have settled and the thought of getting up, getting showered, getting dressed and driving 5 or 10 miles just doesn't cut it

mind you, if i had pre-arranged something and i knew the other party would have made an effort, i'd always keep my end of the bargain and show up

I've taken two trains and nearly 2 hours to meet a couple before lol....They gave me a lift home the next day and offered to pick me up but I like a wee adventure!!

I think if you really want to meet someone you will make the effort. If you are not really all the bothered you won't put yourself out.

Sounds a bit harsh but on here girls have cpls and guys offering to drive them places, take them places etc....She maybe just got a better offer! xx

Woo hoo a girl after my own heart as I feel exactly the same, anyone that messages me from the other side of the country gets told why we are meeting, get fed up with the "I can travel" from them, so bloody what as I can drive but I just could not afford the petrol cost to Plymouth, London etc so I don't expect them to travel to me
