there are men out there saying there a single female trying to trick people and colect pics and phone numbers maybe it is time to make photo verifcation a part of being a member so they can no longer hide behind a false profile

and "couples" that aren't really "couples" etc etc.... There is no way to stop liars being liars or idiots being idiots....

If it is of great concern, phone verification, webcam verification, personal meets etc, prior to becoming "friends" on the site. Many people only become "friends" post initial meeting or other form of verification, if this is an issue that concerns you, I would recommend the same approach

i agree entirely in saying photo verification for new profiles should be compulsory and i posted this suggestion some time ago... and the subject will keep cropping up until admin take this on board (and this is only for new profiles not existing ones as last time people thought i meant those already established)... but i shant hold your breath on it happening as admin last time basically dont agree with this.

a lot of users wont use that function as they dont have use it its there choice - if you see em just block and report

rather than moan about it

mmm bothersome...

We only verify post meeting now, and if it's a couple we're meeting both have to be there (we've heard all the excuses about the missing partner not being there...). We've been members on other sites where there is some responsibility as to who you verify, and cam or phone would never be a reliable method or a replacement method for meeting someone in person...

Surely it all boils down to common sense!

If you don't want people to see your pics, don't add them until you've met in person (as I do)

and never ever give your number to anyone, if you want to chat on phone, you call them and with hold your number!

It's not rocket science!

Yep nearly got suckered in a few weeks back.

Female saying she (really a bloke) wanted some photos doing etc and nearly fell for it after a lengthy conversation.

Then asked her (him) to verify themselves by cam as I became suspicious and hey presto they went offline.

Reported the profile but there are still a few dodgy ones out there so be careful folks.

To be honest I think most are a piece of piss to spot a mile off if you apply a little logic.

Most men who can communicate effectively with women both in everyday chat, or discussions intended to arouse one another (and perhaps more importantly how to blend the two seamlessly and effectively) have no problem getting meets, be that on here or in the real "vanilla" world. Therefore they have no need to dream up a fake woman in order to get their jollies. Those who cannot do this however may resort to these unscrupulous methods (along with whining in the forums and blanket-messaging every woman on site with "YUM. I WANT YOU TO SUCK MY BONE"). Ergo it follows that though not all limited communicators will dream up a fake profile, nearly all who dream up a fake profile will be limited communicators. (The remaining few will be students studying at Sydney University) So a female profile thats been on site for anything more than a few weeks thats two lines long, none descriptive except in the most base brutal terms (most women love widely descriptive prose as having the scene set for them can make the imagination do the most wonderful things....) is probably fake. If there's no pics or pics that look like those of a glamour model, no meets, friends list a mile long, etc, then give it a wide berth!
