Just messaged a "new" member on here to be sent a REALLY shitty message back as it was someone i had a REALLY bad experience with, we met through here but she had a different username then and for reasons i wont discuss here i blocked her. If a member leaves then returns under another name (as she has twice now in 2 weeks) shouldnt fab keep a record (secretly obviously) of e-mail addresses youve blocked and instantly block that person when they do this or am i just being a bit OTT? (if i am i appologise in advance to everyone)

No one needs to create multiple profiles unless they have issues.

I've maintained my profile People can like me, misunderstand me, or just be prejudiced about me and I care less. They aren't the people I'd like to experience.

I'd say you need to read profiles more carefully. Perhaps you looked at the pics and replied?

Maybe I'm just exceptional but I can usually pic a duplicate profile. Though did have an experience only in the last 24 hours with a couple who'd met me before a month ago, but now have a 5 day old profile.

Good thing nothing happened hey! Not the kind I'd like to play with!

I dont like guys who repeatedly close accounts and open new ones. I dont feel as if they are trustworthy. We also like to meet guys who will stick around for repeat meets.

Bad luck OP. Similar has prob happened to most of us accept normally its a guy who has been blocked and keeps opening new accounts and contacting us again! They often try to make out we havent heard from them before but luckily arent intelligent enough to use new pics! lol

Answering the op's question, it possibly could be done, as fab can see if you are varifying two profules off the same ip address and blocks that, but its probably a lot of work when its already set up for just usernames. tbh its probably a good thing to look at, via ip rather than email, to stop some of the stalker types that occasionally turn up. Still, there are ways around that, so it probably wont happen lol

And another guy who I fell out with for being unreliable, just rejoined and messaged me. I blocked him when I guessed who it was.

I've been Jecherche, left came back as Jecherchedeux, returned after last break so naturally trois now - but I didnt foresee the consequences of my choice as the literal translation is I search three - verson three in my head but perhaps a bit of faux pas on a swingers site

He didn't have x-ray vision, can't be a "normal" bloke then...

On topic, I would say it is frustrating, and mildly devious for people to come back as "other people" in an effort to get around the blocking system etc. Like Jecherche here, we can see that its the extension that changes, so there really is no issue. But to "re-create" a personality in an effort of to "wind someone up" is a little narrow minded.

Dont really see what admin can do about it, its just block (again) and move on.

What I really hate are people that create accounts to have a go at people either in PM's or forums, and the "groups" of people that do this...... But that doesnt exist, right?

Ah the anonymity of the internet, both a blessing and a curse, fortunately, I have a life.......

Some people genuinely make mistakes, and need to rethink their approach strategy and literally re-boot their profile and alias. I'm all for it, we are human we all make mistake. Unfortunately mugs like us land up being the victims of their social experiments. So I am all in favour of the site blocking their E-mail addy (ISP ADDY), for us if we have previously blocked them and they return with a new Fab swingers alias.
