I tend to ignore a lot of wording. The nature of the site is going to mean sexual phrases and bravado related to that are fairly common. I am looking to read between the lines and try to gauge the personality. I have already decided whether i like the look of the person or couple based on the pics they have. There text should tell me something about them. I can't think of any words or phrasing that would put me off as long as overall I like the sound of them.

Sometimes that can be the use of emojis though. Took me a while to realise but if you use iPhone emojis for example, they don’t show up in the message and you get question marks instead which looks very odd!

You can use the Fab ones ok though

To answer the original question, nothing specific that I can think of, but really brief profiles put us off. We take time to think about what we are writing and take good pics etc so like people who can put at least a bit of effort in.

Especially the ‘will fill in later’ one, what chance have you got of filling me if you can’t even fill in your own profile

I (Mr) thinks discretion gets a bad press on here. In my world simply means not drawing unwanted attention on ourselves. Some people people talk loudly, which clearly can mean those sitting near by might hear more than we'd like.

It also means being able to fit in to the environment we are meeting, sequinned dress for clubbing in, for a midday coffee shop social doesn't keep things low key in our book.

I just think discretion means people need to be mindful of how to fit in to an environment. Hopefully though your own playdar (you're looking to go beyond a social ultimately aren't you) will have filtered most from getting to that point to start with.

It seems that the code 420 started at a high school in California where the students used to meet at a certain place to smoke marijuana at 4-20pm.
