I dont feel its down to the gender of the married/in relationship person.

Its the view of the other persons gender ie

Men or most men dont give a dam if a women is attached or not as a meet is a meet. Most married women on here do not have any problems actually getting meets.

However womens views on married men etc and meets is very differant and I think thats why they get a harder time.

I don't knowingly meet any married/attached people regardless of their sex unless the spouse knows and or is part of the fun! The secrecy is too much like hard work, can't meet here, got to meet at this time, blah blah blah. But most of all I'm not going to be the cheating parties idea of relationship coucncilling!

i don't think it's so much of a different standard, but more that married women seem to just get on with it...not posting whiny threads about how unfair it is that some people won't meet them...whining about people 'not looking past' the fact they are married, and bleating about 'if you understood my reason etc etc..'

It’s all down to numbers. There are probably more men on here than any other party. So it’s a lot easier to ‘put down’ the majority in an alpha male fighting/mating ritual. Women are the minority on here and so people will be more hesitant to speak the truth, in fear of upsetting any chances of sex. Some men on here merely think with their dick and play a supposedly clever game by sitting on the fence and trying desperately to impress the opposite sex. Me personally, cheating is disrespectful. Why would I bother trying to impress someone who has little respect for anyone else but themselves? Just outright selfishness.

I should have worded it differently - men are more likely to forgive something that’s just sexual. And less likely to forgive something that’s “deeper”. And I believe that’s why you see the difference in attitudes on here

i don't agree at all...i've seen plenty of men on here, and in my life, devastated by being cheated on, and if anything, they are in my experience just as sexually jealous as women. Men know exactly what is and what isn't cheating. It's disingenuous to say they don't.

I remember her also. I think it's down to how a person goes about it really - that's what tends to affect the response. Yes, it'd be easier to say it's a man=bad sort of thing but it's a bit too simplistic and untrue.

but it becomes other people's business when they ask not be contacted by attached people...everyone surely has a choice in whether they want to meet certain people or not? i couldn't give a flying fuck what some random married person does or does not do, but i do give a fuck about who i chose to sleep with.

i dont see any preaching...usually just whining..and people responding, as usually asked, as to why they do/dont want to meet cheats...of course it's not going to make a difference, but if men didn't put up threads bleating about how unfair it is that some arent interested in them , then no one would answer them.

I'd say cheating is whatever the 2 halves of the couple say is cheating.

I am not sure what the fear is.

Nope, wrong again. I don't like the thought of any married person playing without permission. I don't care what their gender is.

It's no different when a man posts asking for advice on how to get his [female] partner into swinging. He gets hung, drawn and quartered.

Yet a single woman posted that she wanted her boyfriend, who didn't swing, to have a bi MMF threesome. He didn't and couldn't understand why she would want one.

The response in the forum was polar opposite - she was treated with compassion and the general consensus was that the guy was to blame!

Relationships are often complicated!

Women lose interest in sex far more often than men do, so a lot of the men on here will be "married cheaters", whether they admit it or not. Some will be doing it with the full knowledge and permission of their partners (and are therefore arguably not "cheaters"), others will be doing it in total secrecy, and many of us are somewhere in between. In my case, I have permission to look elsewhere, but my wife dosn't want to know the sordid details. In other cases, there will be no specific permission given, but the wife is just quietly relieved that her husband has stopped pestering her for sex and seems to be happier lately. Is this still "cheating"? Opinions vary.

For women, the situation is likely to be different. How many female "cheaters" are in sexless relationships? This is rare in the general population, but it's still likely to account for at least some women being on here. Of course women in this situation generally have much more opportunities than men do, partly because of the male/female ratio on here (and all other "adult dating" sites), and partly because men seem less likely to care if the women they see are married.

But negative stereotyping is common. A sexless relationship is not necessarily an "unhappy" one in any other respect, and nobody should ever presume to suggest that a person in one should leave his/her partner: this does become very tiresome after a while. Same with those who suggest that such problems can be magically solved by "talking it over" (as if that hasn't been tried): such suggestions are generally unhelpful. As are assumptions that those in sexless relationships "don't respect their partners", or that they are "being dishonest with them" (maybe, maybe not: you don't know, so don't presume).

Sometimes a female "married cheater" profile pops up in my area, and when it does, of course I message her if she's reasonably attractive. But so do hundreds of other guys!

It's not down to gender, there are some very successful married men on here that are / used to be fawned over in the forums.

It's how you go about it that makes a difference. Come on here moaning trying to change people's mindset you're going to get challenged just like any other thread.

Each to there own, I wouldn't but I'm single so no double standards! Maybe she see bareback pic and that's the reason because that also puts a lot of people off.

Nope, both get treated the same by us and get a not interested, we used to be quite vocal against cheaters but have realised we are swimming against the tide on here now, so just let people get on with it and ignore them,

Look at this way. A single bloke might get two meets a year, a married bloke might get one meet every three years. Hence he moans about the difficulty of getting meets.

Conversely, a single woman might get 100 messages a week and a married woman fifty messages a week. Hence the latter doesn't moan.

There are lots of married men on here without the knowledge of their partner that do really well, and get new meets regularly, difference is they just get on with it, they don't come on the forums moaning that their wives don't want sex and trying to justify their actions, similar to cheating women on here. Hence no reaction.

The other difference is more the gender of the ones doing the challenging, a cheating woman is a badge of honour to a man, whereas a cheating man is just a cheat to many women and couples.

Seems men just like moaning, "my wife doesn't want sex with me" "women have a moral compass" This in itself is a very unattractive trait.
