What gives anyone the right to demand a face pic to illicit a response from them when they show no pics of themselves whatsoever on their profile. I actually do have a public picture where my face is clearly visible but I find the demand incredibly rude

I’m not sure how it’s rude. People can ask for what they want and you have the choice to oblige or pass them by OP.
