you cant sopt fakes 100% for sure. some are obvious but some are. surely it dont matter if your mail is read or you have been looked at. some peole get way too many messages and will ignore just based on the first line.

True, I was speaking to a girl chum of mine the other day who said that she'd been away at the weekend & came back to find just too many messages to read so did a mass delete.

I wish I was so lucky.

We hate the ones who hide the fact they've looked.

They 'be-friend' you, get added to your friends list, comment on your pics via messages & in chat - yet there is no record that the've even looked.

Caught a few out with this as they turned out to be single men posing as couples or voyeurs with no intention of turning up for a meet.

There is always someone behind a profile, therefore, IMHO, a profile cannot be fake.

Whether he/she is genuine or not is another matter, IMHO.

So a profile may or not be fake depending on what each persons definition of 'fake' is.

Which presumably brings us into the realms of 'genuine fakes' and 'fake' fakes.

Scenario, and I have had a few of these.

A couple PM me asking for a meet, and I replied I do not play with couples, ever.

I would then get a reply to say the gent of the couple would meet and play with me alone, with or without the other half knowing.

Is the profile fake, as in a gent pretending as part of a couple who is in fact a singleton; or the gent in question is indeed part of a couple, however, he is also a cheater playing away?

A guy sent us a first message yesterday asking how near we where to a certain town, Profile looked ok, So we replied we were 1 and 1/2 hours by car from there. Nothing else but a polite reply

His reply was "ok, great it takes me 20 mins to get to said town, and do you have face pics"

Mmmm Reply "Thanks but sorry not for us!"

Log on to "but what was the last message about then, LOL"

Delete whos the fake him or us

Think we may be increasing our lower age limit

There seems to be a pattern...although probably not 100% accurate..

People with no picture...very few words about themselves and/or things like 'we are new to this will update profile soon'..but members for over a year, all 'likes' boxes ticked, loads of friends..no meets..no verifications.

So many on here like that..always looks a but suss..

We choose to opt out of showing as looked but not because we are fake or not going to turn up for meets.
