Do people feel swinging more and more becoming a young persons thing. Swinging was once considered a middle age activity now you go to clubs and see 21 year olds and sometimes younger.?

I just think younger people now a days had more sex that older people when they were in there early 20s and that’s just because of the whole “no sex before marriage “ things. People worried a lot more about the catholic/ protestant Church years ago then we do now.

Maybe a club with age limits would be a good way around this but I know younger people find mature people to be there turn on ps and kinks. That’s kinda why we are on here

They dont actually. All the stats say the partner rate is falling...rapidly. As someone who frequents both the swinging and dating world, its actually rather clear to see.

Also, OP, have you actually been to swinging clubs? Events? Parties?

LOL swinging is not a young persons thing at all. Many times, I find I am the youngest person in attendance. And I am nearing 30.

I am really curious as to where some of these observations come from.

Both increase every year allowing the younger to try more easier than it was ever possible to do for Oder people

I’d be very surprise if people of an age here would not of tried swinging earlier in their lives if the technology & options back them allowed them to so easily

I wouldn’t see it like that. I for one prefer chatting socially with those older than myself simply due to my mentality and values. That makes conversation with said people much more engaging for me. There’s many reasons to go to a club at any age, i very much doubt you’d be ignored.

As one of the younger site members I’ll give you my reasons for being here.

I’m much more comfortable socially with the generation before me. I also find the way in which most people at a club are comfortable with themselves regardless of body type etc. I find the openness and confidence people have in dressing down etc very sexy and liberating.

I’m not looking for anything serious in vanilla life and would need to be in order to approach someone with my interests as asking someone about threesomes or bdsm and such isn’t something many would be comfortable being asked so soon. So I’m here to explore, be social and ultimately to become much more familiar with myself and my interests. Too many ask the question “why?” When the answer is pretty simple, because we enjoy it and some others enjoy younger males.

Its really bizarre how many people live in the twilight zone.

Young people are not...

Getting married.

Working long term.

Having more sex.

Buying houses.

Driving.

Going out clubbing.

Smoking.

Drinking.

I thought this was well known. The internet has really skewed peoples perception of reality...but the idea that young people are engaging in these activities more is dumbfounding.

Personally I like to be surrounded by people my age (give or take 10 years on either side) and tend to attend clubs and parties that cater to that.

I think there have always been people in their 20's and 30's interested in swinging, but some don't even give it a name and some aren't even on any site. It's just them having fun amongst friends and strangers at a party.

As others have said, technology now makes it more easy and acceptable to share erotic pics and videos with friends. I think this is why it's seen as a more natural step to visit swingers clubs and to look for casual sex.

The Allure under 39's parties held at Townhouse have all been capacity events with a huge percentage of guests engaging in sexual play.

I love to see younger people in clubs and in this lifestyle more generally! Sex is fun no matter how old you are. Our generation is definitely a liberal bunch, with the internet making this more accessible...Fab is/was advertised on the LoveHoney website! Yes there's people there old enough to be our parents, and people old enough to be your children etc, but this all adds to the flavour, as do people of all sizes, shapes and colours!

I feel that it’s for any age. We set our preferences for 30+ due to wanting common ground conversation etc You would literally have to wipe out anything to do with the 70s and 80s for starters, possibly even early 90s too. That’s a huge part of conversation gone lol

It's still kind of seen like that, however with rise of tinder more people ate heading about this who are promiscuous from other like minded people on there however its having a negative effect to, many you here partake in the sixties but don't see it as swinging

From what weve seen at clubs, 20 some things tend to swing with other 20 some things. While 40 pluses tend to swing with 40 pluses.There ate plenty of exceptions. But playing by age tends to be the most common pattern.

See alot of people in this thread are right about how there is a divide at a club, I have been going to clubs niegh on 5 years now and seen alot more younger people join the fold as the years have progressed,

I personally have an old head on young shoulders with life as the way nurture shaped me and love the 80s culture more than today's even though I wasn't born till 93

It's slowly becoming an online generation with sex coming easily and readily available at the drop of a hat with tinder and the norm of dating sites..... however the prices set by clubs have an effect now and love the prices as it s out the immaturity from youth alot more

I don't agree that the young ones stay in their bracket I think they mix well as far as I know, the only thing is they always have to work harder to prove themselves in a conversation with experienced swingers, but they are really cool if you meet the confident ones who know what they want. They are cool, I noticed however that the matured ladies don't give the younger girls a good reception at the clubs but I tell the young girls, put your bid in on the field of play and prove to the guys that you have a matured head on your shoulders by composing yourself well and smiling. Wish we had fab when we were in our 20's.

Sex and all the options around sex is now readily available on the interweb, so people are informed at a younger age.

We've not seen any rise in 'young-uns' in clubs, but the awareness is there.

We don't care if they're the age of our kids, we don't care if they're your kids as long as they're legal and willing it's game on!

From exp not always but depends on the crowd, i unfortunately look younger than my age suggests. I have met people who this is a dislike and associate stigmas to it while others Love a cub, while others I have changed their opinion simply by personality and showing I am a mature individual.

I've commented on other threads about younger single girls in swingers clubs, that it might actually be a safer environment for them than picking up a guy in a regular club and going home with him or taking him back to her place. Very hapoy to see lots more youngsters in clubs for that reason alone.

Interesting article. My own experience has been that younger people are much more open to sex and are doing things a lot earlier. The girls in my office where I work are a good example. 22 year old girls have an experience base that's similar to mine and I'm nearly 36. Internet, swing sites, porn are more available and that may have a role. Who knows.

I personally love young lovers so never have a problem seeing someone 10 or 15 years younger at a party. But I do find the convo with them sometimes get boring because they don't have much to talk about (other than sex of course)
