Hi All,

We have been enjoying this site and had some great fun times over the last two years. We are now considering visiting a club (South Wales area) in the next month or so. We are complete novices as far as the club scene is concerned, so were wondering what is the best club to visit, what to expect, club etiquette etc. Any tips/help/advice would be appreciated. X

I'm sure you will love the club scene, and wish you all the very best, when you go.

The most important thing to remember in any club is that 'no means no', so don't feel under any pressure to play (unless you want to).

Other than that, all clubs are different in terms of dress code, etc, so check out the Clubs section on Fab (8th item along in the top menu)

Clubs are like shoes, they all serve the same purpose, but go about things slightly differently. Like most people, you'll probably end up becoming members of several clubs, and decide on where you go by the mood you are in, or what you are after on the day.

The Club Reviews page is a good place to start. Short list those clubs within your striking distance and see what people say. Also have a look at the clubs own web sites, for photos etc of what to expect when you get there.

Check out their FAQ's for perculiarities of individual clubs.

Most of all, have fun trying them out and seeing which suits you the most.

Have a think about what you are after, what fun you are looking for, what you would like to wear etc.

Some clubs are dressed up in the bar / social areas, some are towel clubs where you take your clothes off on arrival (and where a towel or underwear).

Think about what you want, then look at the club descriptions!

Trust me, as long as you do everything on your own terms you will have great fun in the clubs!!
