Hi we been swinging for around 18 months now and we still find it hard to approach couples Nickey gets more attention at parties for obvious reasons and we have had a few good meets and built us some good relationships but does anyone else still find it hard to build up the courage to message others or approach at parties.

Approaching in person can be hard - but I think you just have to suck it up and go for it. If it doesn't pan out then it was at least a nice conversation.

As far as approaching on here....just send a message. What's the worst that can happen?

I agree, 18 verifications in just 7 months is pretty damn good.

Even if you do find it difficult to approach others it doesn't seem to be holding you back.

We've been meeting others on and off for years, yet still sometimes struggle with approaching others first at parties etc.

We're fine when others come up and start a conversation with us. It's just finding the balls to make hat move ourselves.

Messaging first doesn't worry us. The worst they can do is delete, block or tell us to buggar off.

In male mode, I can't approach people as I am too shy. When in Rachel mode, I can be a bit forward with people.

You must be more confident as Rachel. I think a lot of my issues stem from being a big bloke I’ve lost a lot of weight but I know I’m still fat but shrinking still but mentally I still think of myself as massive and just figure We will be rejected straight away because of me

It's quite strange really, if people approach us we can chat, flirt etc no problems, but when considering approaching others we freeze

That’s exactly what it’s like for us just have no confidence in breaking the ice messaging is easier as if they don’t reply no biggie but the in person bit is so hard.

Very much so, we're usually the ones sat in a corner at the club, until someone chats to us
